Jayce vs Kaia
Hearing those words made Jayce stop as he slowly turned his head to look behind him. He was surprised, with his heightened senses it was almost impossible to sneak up on him with the exception of Bella.
But what made the matter even worse was that when Jayce saw her, he recognized her as the boss of the Exterminators, Kaia.
'Wasn't she supposed to be at the meeting!?' Taking a closer look, he could see she had multiple cuts along her body and smell her blood in the air.
'Did the gang turn on her?' Jayce swiftly disregarded the idea, most of them would piss their pants just being in the same room as her, let alone revolt.
Then he remembered the lack of guards, and piecing it together, he was able to guess what happened roughly.
'The guards finally made their move, probably with some help from the student council.' He knew the guards weren't strong enough to make her run away.
