Returned to the Duke's Mansion

Chapter 24

"Pardon me your highness but that's the truth. I saw her talking with the White fox when it's enrage with their presence" replied the shadow guard.

"What an amazing woman my future wife is?" said the Seventh Prince proudly while smiling mischievously.

"Tell them to continue guarding her and don't let her get harmed" said the Seventh Prince to his subordinate.

"As you command your highness" then the shadow guard disappeared.

"You really never failed to surprise me every day my future wife" said the Seventh Prince to himself while smiling.

On the road going back to the Duke's mansion...

Reina together with the people who are accompanying her are all energetic for the gains they have. The two Knights guarding the entrance to the Empire check their carriage but they find anything unusual.

"Can we proceed already?" asked Reina to one of the guards who are doing the inspection.

"Yes Miss you can proceed" replied the knight formally.

They safely entered on the gate of the Empire.

"Hey Farron are you sure you want to remain in the human form" asked Reina to the man sitting in front of her curiously.

"Why are you still asking for something obvious?" replied the man with sarcasm.

Reina felt like punching the man in front of her. She just keeps her mouth shut and look at the window of the carriage.

"Miss we are in the Duke's mansion already" Ericka said to Reina.

Reina fell asleep after they entered the gate of the Empire.

"Oh! Thanks Ericka" Reina replied while stretching her limbs because of stiffness during the journey.

Sir Alabaster opened the door of the carriage and guide Reina while going down on it.

But even before the knight hold Reina's hands the seventh Prince is already holding her hand.

Reina was stunned when she see the Seventh Prince holding her hand already.

"Hello there your highness" Reina said while smiling awkwardly.

The Seventh Prince is wearing a typical prince outfit, specifically green clothes adorned by emerald jewels and diamond. He looks extremely beautiful and handsome at the same time.

Reina felt her heart throbbing dangerously in her chest.

"What the heck is happening with me? This is dangerous for my heart, he belongs to the female lead and I don't want to be more attached to him. I will be the one who is going to get hurt in the end. I have to wake myself up to this illusion" Reina said to herself while walking with the Seventh Prince.

"Wait for a moment your highness I have a new friend that I want to introduce to you" Reina said excitedly she didn't see the glint of grimness on the Prince face.

"Hey Farron I want to introduce you to someone" Reina shouted from the carriage because she forgot the White fox who is still inside of it.

The Seventh Prince stopped beside Reina and waited for something to get down on the carriage. It is also his first time meeting an ancient beast from the legends. So he is expecting a huge animal come from the carriage. But to his dismay what he see is not an animal getting down from the carriage but a handsome man with a very seductive aura. He felt uncomfortable inside of him but he didn't let it show. He glare at the man who is walking towards them.

"Who is he, Reina?" asked the Seventh Prince curiously but glaring to the man.

"He is Farron whom I met in Lisha. I will tell you about him later" Reina replied happily.

The Seventh Prince face become more grimly.

"Farron this is my fiancée, Prince Hellery Ecclaire the Seventh Prince of this Kingdom" Reina said with a big smile.

"Oh! Really, don't worry Reina I know him" the White fox replied while smiling mysteriously. "By the way hello there your highness" he added.

"What! How was that possible?" Reina asked curiously. She forced herself to remember the novel's synopsis but she can't really remember the part whether the Seventh Prince and the ancient beast meet each other. Honestly, she is regretting it right now that she didn't read the entire story.

Reina sigh thinking of those what ifs which will never come true. She also misses her life but according to the novels she reads. Most of the time who experience this kind of time travel are already dead in their original world or their bodies are comatose. It's up to them in the end whether they will stay or leave. She didn't dream to experience something like this. Having a predestined life is actually difficult to accept. Having no freedom to choose for yourself feels the worst.

"Reina, what are you thinking" asked the Seventh Prince curiously while squeezing the woman's hands that he is holding.

Reina smiled at the Seventh Prince with a hint of sadness in her eyes.

"It's nothing by the way I want to show you the spiritual stones that we get in Lisha" Reina said excitedly.

The Seventh Prince smiled warmly "Is she still thinking about my brother? Hmmmp ... she is mine now I won't let my stupid brother get in the way between the two of us" he said to himself while walking with Reina towards the carriage direction where the spiritual stones are placed.

Although Prince Hellery already know the existence of the spiritual stones in that place but he is still amazed when he see in front of him the real deal.

The spiritual stones are all inside the carriage that they brought. They have six carriage in total and only Reina's carriage doesn't contain spiritual stones. It is really beautiful and at the same time powerful. Because it could help in the training in strengthening the spiritual energy of someone. The more amount you could obtain it the more of chances of becoming more powerful and unstoppable in achieving your dream.

"So what are you planning on doing this kind of thing?" asked the Seventh Prince.

"I plan on distributing it to different countries so that we can work on the relationship of our Kingdom to other countries" Reina replied to Prince Hellery.

"And why do you plan on doing that?" asked the Seventh Prince.

"So that we can build a friendly relation to other countries to prevent war from happening" Reina replied seriously to the Seventh Prince.

"Hmmmmm…. you have a point" the Seventh Prince said while nodding his head.

"So do you have a plan on doing that?" asked Reina to the Seventh Prince.

"Yes I have but I still didn't polish my plan exactly is yet" Reina replied while thinking seriously.

"I believe you can come up with something that will be suited for your plan" the Seventh Prince said while smiling warmly.

Reina felt her heart throb more. She smile and avoid looking at the in front of her.

"Thanks for believing in me. Let's get inside the mansion first" Reina replied formally.

Before Reina entered the mansion she met the Duke and her brother in the front door.

"So how are you little lady?" asked the Duke to her daughter while smiling.

"I'm fine father thanks for asking?" Reina replied while smiling warmly.

Then the two men see a man walking behind Reina and the Seventh Prince.

"Who is this?" asked the Duke pointing to the man behind the two.

"Father, he is Farron the white fox guarding the cave where I found the spiritual stones" Reina said. "Father, brother let's talk inside" she added she let go of the Seventh Prince hand and grabbed her father and brother's hand.

Richard and the Duke smile smugly at the Seventh Prince because of what Reina did.

Prince Hellery's face became grim but he didn't let it show to his face.

While Farron on the other hand saw what happened so when the three entered first he teased the Seventh Prince.

"It seems your fiancée doesn't like you the way you like her" Farron said to the Seventh Prince while smiling wickedly.

"Mind your business mutt" replied the Seventh Prince angrily. "Don't get too close to her she is mine" he added with a warning.

"I don't think it's possible she is already my contractor I can read her mind without her knowing. A piece of advice I think she knows something about you that you are not aware of. When you hold her hand earlier her emotions fluctuate but I sense sadness in her" Farron said seriously then go on his own inside the mansion leaving the Seventh Prince alone.

Prince Hellery was stunned with what he heard from the white fox words.

"It doesn't matter as long as she is already mine no one can take you away from me. No matter what secret you know about me" said the Seventh Prince to himself.

He also entered the door of the mansion. He see Reina talking to her family happily.

"I hope your smile would only belong to me" he said to himself.
