chapter fifty one

Joan always saved him during that day, when they were children he didn't know how but Joan always pulled him out of his thoughts on that day,

when they were kids Joan was always the first to wish him a happy birthday either by being silly or silly, she always found a way to make him smile, maybe she saw him dying cause on that day Joan will always stick with him and go anywhere he would go, she kept him sane during that day and this year maybe he was expecting too much and his expectation damaged him.

although Joan spent most of her time with Nick, she was also cool with Callum and one who thought she was better off with Callum, maxim. maxim thought Callum was the right guy for Joan and since she has the best interest of Joan she will help her to see clearly

on Nick's birthday, Joan woke up early to prepare something for him, as usual she wanted to be the first to wish him, so yesterday she called both their parents and asked them to give her two hours before they wish Nick and they agreed

Nick woke up and he waited for someone's presence, he didn't want to go anywhere so as not to miss her but he was unfortunate....

before Joan could leave her home to Nick's, a knock was heard, she opened it and it was maxim, she came with panic and anxious look on her face, she told Joan something happened to her parents so Joan should excort her home cause he was too anxious to drive and she was close to her house when she heard the news.

Joan went with her and that was a mistake she didn't know she will regret.

because maxim rushed Joan, Joan left her phone at home and drove Maxim.

the strange thing was, maxim place seemed too far and unfortunately for Joan too, on the way their car broke down and no car was seen at that place as they waited for a while.

Joan became anxious, they walked a little and they found a place to stay as maxim said she was going to call someone since they were almost close to her place to pick them up and that took them hours.

as the sunset Joan became anxious, it was Nick's birthday and by now his parents might have called him already.
