The special meeting for the special quest

After spending a day with Kyle, Hugo is now heading to his Royal palace. An emergency situation has come up.

The entire capital is now engulfed in a weird dark aura and the reason behind is the infamous Azaria dungeon.

A dark aura consisting of strong bloodlust and hatred is overflowing in the capital. The surrounding provinces are also engulfed in that ominous aura.

It is becoming stronger and stronger every moment. The Royal court has to take action soon before the matter gets out of hand.

Hugo has now reached the palace. He will now sit in a special meeting regarding the matter.

All the important ministers and figures are now waiting for Hugo in the meeting room.

Everyone was talking and was guessing the cause of the dark aura and that's when Hugo suddenly entered the room.

Seeing him everyone stood up and paid their respect. Hugo nodded his head and sat on the main chair.

Everyone also takes their sits after Hugo sat. Seating on the chair he picked some reports that were placed in front of him and read it one after another for a few minutes.

After reading a certain report he looked at Yang Azu and asked him "Are you sure about it?"

He replied confidently that he is sure that the cause of this dark aura is the doing of the Demonic Church.

Listening to his words the whole room was terrified. Seeing them getting terrified Hugo stood up and announced loudly that "After reading the report submitted by the Archpriest Yang Azu I understood that the culprit behind the dark aura is the Demonic Church and by the authority of the King I will eliminate them and will put an end to this incident".

Hearing his announcement everyone shouted in his support and started chanting his name.

Delivering his announcement he called the guild leader Yozor Van and Yang Azu in the throne room and left from there.

Both went into the room before Hugo and were waiting for his appearance.

After some time Hugo appeared in the throne room with the Rose crown on his head and seated on the throne.

Sitting on the throne he looked at the guild master and asked him to lift his head.

Getting permission he lifted his head and looked at Hugo.

Hugo asked him "Is everything well? How's your family doing?"

Tingling with anxiety he replied, "By your grace everything is well". Saying that he swallowed down a gulp.

Hearing his answer Hugo smiled and said "I am happy to hear that".

Listening to Hugo's words Yozor smiled and said "Thank you for asking about my family, me and my family are grateful to you".

Hearing his words Hugo inhaled a deep breath and said "I want you to select 3 groups for a special quest and I want you to submit a report about the selected groups by tomorrow morning".

Saying that he was going to say something to Yang as well but that's when his prime minister entered the room with a paper in his hand entering in room he went near the throne and passed the paper to Hugo.

Looking at the paper Hugo was flabbergasted his eyes weren't believing what he saw right now.

Seeing him getting that amazed Yozor asked "What's the matter your majesty you look really amazed and happy as well".

He looked at him in response to his question and said "I found the key to stop this dark aura".

Hearing his words he asked, "Who is he?"

Hugo replied while throwing the paper to him, saying, "Dai Itami the Integrity level Holy magician will help us to stop this dark aura and suppress the Demonic church".

Taking a glance at the paper he was surprised. Looking at him getting that surprised Yang snatched the paper from him and said after looking at the paper "Who is he? He is more powerful than anyone in this kingdom, his status remembers me of the previous hero Oliver Zekken".

"Yes, you are right he is currently the most powerful person but even he can be defeated, he must have a lot of mana and skills but if he doesn't have the experience of battle he wouldn't be able to defeat the mastermind behind this incident so we have to test him before sending him in the dungeon," said Hugo while scratching his head.

Listening to him Yozor asked, "Will he agree to help us in this quest?"

In response to his question, Hugo replied: "Of course he will agree, to the information It seems like he is an elf from the Elvish Empire and moreover, he is a close friend of the dark mage Chris of the Twin Horn's party and the leader of the party is my friend so it will be easy for me to make him agree to participate in this quest".

Getting his answer Yozor lowered his head and said "As expected of my majesty you already thought about it".

"Obviously, now listen to me we will hold a convention after a week and will announce our special quest 'God's Hammer' Before that I will invite Dai Itami to lunch and will force him to participate in a mock dual with the Captain Knight Eugcious Hage in public and by doing that we will get the public support for forcefully sending a person in a quest," said Hugo with a devil smile on his face.

"I hope that we don't have to send him forcefully," said Yozor with grief on his face.

"Yeah it would make a bad impression on us if we force such a big person into a quest without his consent," said Yang in support of Yozor.

Listening to their words Hugo placed his hands on his lips and said "I also don't want to force him but as a King, I have to take some measures anyway Yozor prepare the report and send it to me on time, and for Yang prepare the elite squad 'Executous' they will join the quest with the other groups".

Saying that he dramatically left the room.

On the other side, Itami also gets defeated in the 2nd round. This time he tried his best to deal a fatal blow to Harold but it seems like it's hundred years early for him to do that.

Even though this time Harold was in full defensive mode Itami couldn't take advantage of that. He attacked ferociously but before Harold's defense, his attacks were meaningless.

The result would have been different if it was a dual of magic but in a sword fight nobody can overpower Harold, he is the strongest.

After getting defeated for the 2nd time Itami was kinda sad but there was a smile on his face which tells us that even though he was defeated he enjoyed the dual.

Harold and he was drinking water while sitting on the bench that's when suddenly Harold asked him "Aren't you going to practice your magical skills?"

Listening to the question Itami laughed and said "I have practiced enough for the magical skills, I am quite confident in my magical skills".

"How confident are you?" asked Harold after listening to his words.

Itami smirked and replied, "I am confident enough to say that I am the strongest when it comes to magic".

"Well, that's great can you show me some of your skills?" requested Harold with sparkling eyes.

Seeing his sparkling eyes Itami couldn't refuse him so he showed a little bit of his magic.

He used his 'Holy slash' skill and cut down hundreds of trees at once.

Using his skill he looked at Harold and said "It's just a small skill of mine, I have got many bigger skills than it".

Seeing his 'Holy Slash' Harold was speechless, he always wanted to see this kind of powerful skill and at last, he got to see a skill that has exceeded his expectations.

So he said "Wonderful" and hugged Itami, some tears was falling from his eyes but I guess he didn't notice that said Itami while showing his sweet kind smile.

Even though he is the master of swords he always wanted to use magic so whenever he saw others using powerful magical skills he was happy and sad at the same time but for the first time in his life, he just feels happy from inside his heart, seeing someone elegantly use his powerful magical skill has bought a great deal of happiness to him.

Hugging Itami he said "Thanks my friend for letting me see your beautiful elegant magic, it's kinda embarrassing to say but I have always wanted a friend who would be the strongest in magic" saying that he couldn't say anything else there was just tears coming down from his eyes so Itami just heard his words and hugged him tightly.

At that time Itami was feeling like his existence did have a meaning in someone's life and he was just happy to know that. (To be continued)
