The atmosphere in Maldives is too different from Seoul. Few people walking along the way, the air is so fresh, waters everywhere.
The island looked exactly like those images floating across your screen—bright sun, transparent blue lagoons, house reef teeming with fish, sand beaches that stretched out into nothing but miles and miles of turquoise waters and blue skies.
A tropical paradise indeed, but I’m not here for a vacation. I came here to fetch the person I’ve never got the chance to see for almost a year now, my dad.
The car who took me from the airport pulled up in a huge hotel and I immediately climbed out and entered inside and asked the information desk for my father’s room number.
I knocked three times and a lady in white opened the door, his private nurse. “Yes sir, what I can I do for you?”
