Graduation Part 2

I was left in the bathroom all alone. My hair was dripping wet and my face looked like a clown's. My eyes were red from all the crying.

I got a text from Namjoon.

New message from Namjoonie

Namjoonie

Are you okay? What's taking you so long?

Me

I- I'm fine.

Namjoonie

Are you sure?

Me

I-..

Can you come to the bathroom?

Namjoonie

Why?

Me

I need your help with something...

Namjoonie

Are you really okay, Se-ri?

You seem different.

Me

Just...come.

Namjoonie

Alright.

I waited for 5 minutes and heard a knock on the door. I guess it's Namjoon.

"Se-ri? Are you in there?" He asked me.

"I am..." I answered.

"Can I come in?" He asked.

"Yeah... come in." I mumbled.

He opened the door and as soon as he saw me his jaw literally hit the floor. He rushed to me and hugged me tightly. I started crying again in Namjoon's arms.

"Shh. You're going to be alright. You're safe." He whispered.

We were in the bathroom for 15 minutes. I washed my face completely and dried my hair with a blowdryer.

I had no makeup on me anymore and my hair was a mess too. I was on the verge of crying every minute. Namjoon looked worried. He hasn't seen me in a condition like this for ages. I was always smiling and having fun, but right now I was on the verge of falling apart.

"Are you okay?" He asked with concern in his eyes.

"I'm fine. I don't know if I'll be attending the graduation tho... I feel like I want to be alone for a while." I mumbled.

"...Alright. I'll tell the techers that you were sick and couldn't attend the ceremony. I'll come to your place after the ceremony is over." He answered.

"You aren't going to attend the party?" I asked him.

"No." He answered and gave me a bright smile.

"Okay." I answered and gave him a small smile.

I said goodbye to Namjoon and started walking back home.

I was almost home when my phone started ringing. It was mom. I answered my phone and as soon as I pressed accept I heard mom crying on the phone.

"Mom! What's wrong??" I asked worriedly.

"Se-ri... I... I have... *sob* ...I have..." she tried.

She got me crying too.

"Mom! What's wrong???" I asked again.

"I'm so... so sorry... I have cancer...I'm so sorry..."Mom cried.

"WHAT?!" I dropped my phone on the cround.

I started crying harder. It felt like I was shot in the heart. I felt a huge pain coming from my heart. It was painful, too painful. Suddenly I started feeling dizzy.

"Wha- what is this?" I mumbled.

I was about to hit the ground, but when I was waiting for the pain, there was nothing. I felt arms wrapped around me. But I still passed out in the persons arms.

"...ri! Se-ri! Are you okay Se-ri?"

"...ugh... what... happened?" I mumbled trying to get up.

As soon as I tried getting up I felt arms pushing me back to my bed.

"Don't get up." the figure said.

It was my brother. He was standing in front of my bed and looked relieved that I was okay.

"That the heavens you're alright." He sighted

I saw Namjoon sleeping in a chair and that's when I realized I was in a hospital room.

"Why am I in the hospital?" I asked.

"Someone picked you up and brought you to the hospital, because you passed out." He explained me.

"Wha-" I started but couldn't continue.

That's when it hit me. I remembered my mother calling me and saying that she has... cancer. I started crying and my brother hugged me.

"M- mom... she called me and- *sob* told me that... she has cancer... *sob*." I cried.

"I know... you'll be okay, promise." He reassured me.

"But-" I started.

"Shh." He stopped me.
