With the failure of the heroes listening to the Monarch, the new era was coming. The Great Divide.
This meant that the old pawns would be left to fight for themselves and no longer would be given advantages. Even if they were unaware of them in the first place.
{The perspective is changed.}
The Monarchs POV.
My plan to kill the stronger system users resulted in failure but it's both a blessing and a curse. It has provided me with lots of valuable information but also showed me the effect that the system users have on certain heroes.
To think Sevarian was able to bring Kallista back to her original thinking, how could I have expected that?
"Master we have completed the requests." An unknown voice says from behind me.
Watcher Theo, I always could trust him to complete my requests.
"So the preparations for the third and fourth Gate have been completed?" I question while turning around to face him.
"Yes. It was a bit more challenging but I think they will be ready in time for the plan." Theo responds honestly.
The third gate isn't like the first two since it contains- well I shouldn't be thinking about that right now.
A new era is upon the people of this world, Earth truly is a magnificent testing grounds for my final gates. A shame that Calet and Azeth couldn't handle the third gate.
"All that matters is that it's finished. I'll open them soon." I say while pulling out a book.
The systems have been evolving for quite some time but I don't allow for every change that happens. I leave some of the freedoms to the system managers for a reason since it wouldn't be a fun challenge.
Sevarian forgets that I could take all of this away from him but it would be a waste since it will make our battle worth it. If he can make it that far.
"Yes Master." Theo says before exiting the room.
I never use to have the watchers or the system managers, it use to just be me but times have changed. I couldn't handle it anymore, not with the growing amount of dangers in the universe.
The watchers were the strongest fighters I met who were able to handle the dangers within the gates. I came to know them after seeing the fights against the bosses in the first and second gates.
They proved that it was the right call for me to pick them.
System managers came from those who could handle extreme changes with the environment and the lack of mana. I've poured a lot of magic into these systems for them to work in the first place.
All to help these worlds prepare for the end of ages. I still don't think it'll be possible to stop it but this is the most promising world I've found in a long time.

Sevarians View.
"Thank you for saving me Sevarian." Kallista says sincerely.
"Of course, we're friends." I reply with a positive tone in my voice.
We made our way back to the others up top and it was a bit of explaining from the two of us but Rika understood. Elizabeth was unconscious but we managed to heal her back to normal for now.
It was a chaotic day, yet we all made it through this time together.
The rumbling stopped and I could no longer detect Astal nearby, he must've assumed we die in the fall. I wish I could convince him to join us instead of fighting him every single time he shows up.
His system truly did corrupt him in the worse ways but maybe that'll change when the world is rid of these monstrosities.
"What do we do now?" Rika asks with a curious expression on her face.
Probably wise to setup some sort of base for the time being since we've just been wandering for the past few months. We've been managing to get food and water but there hasn't been a single spot to stay yet.
"We need to setup a home base. Somewhere we can always head back to." I say while trying to think.
My house isn't a good spot so maybe somewhere around the outskirts of the city, a place that we can secure with little issues.
"The outskirts weren't as bad as the central city, why not there?" Kallista suggests to the group.
She was thinking the same thing as me apparently. I'm glad that we both had the right idea in mind but I don't know anything about building.
"Sounds like a perfect idea." A gruffy voice says from behind.
I turned around to see the same giant I remembered back in the second gate, it was Onyx. He actually survived the fights there.
A hero is not someone to underestimate, as I've learned from the fight with Kallista but I never did underestimate her in the first place.
"Onyx!!" The group all shouted collectively.
"Yeah I'm here and breathing. Those bastards couldn't take me down." He responds confidently.
"We're more than happy to have you back with us man." I say with a smile on my face.
