The Girl with Dragon Powers

Smoke filled the air for a few moments before I could finally see what was going on before my eyes. Seems I wouldn't have to go all the way to that market place in the first place.

A girl with long pink hair, horns that come from her head, wearing a student like outfit and posseses power of a dragon had arrived.

She looked exactly how I'd expected her to but then her gaze shifted over to me for a moment where I could see her eyes. Dark black with a spiral looking pupil in the center of both her eyes, she definitely wasn't human by any means.

"Get out of my way!" Astal shouts as he charges in towards the girl.

As he charges in I watched her use a dragon like claw to completely knock him out of the battle.

Bam!!!

"Gahhhh!!!" He screams as he goes flying across the street into a building.

Crash!!!!!

"You trying to fight too?" She asks while glaring at me.

"No, I was actually looking for you." I respond confidently.

She's quite intimidating but I think it's definitely possible to talk to her without causing an unnecessary fight. She seems beyond powerful compared to me so I'd prefer to avoid a fight.

"Huh, looking for me?" She questions while coming closer.

She was quite beautiful despite her intimidating appearance.

"It's part of my quest." I answer while focusing on her.

"A System user, this world is quite odd for getting such gifts." She says while looking up and down at me.

"Yeah, I didn't expect it either." I reply while keeping calm.

"Regardless what do I have to do with this quest of yours?" She asks.

"I was just told to talk with you." I answer while looking at her.

She looks like the type that would definitely be able to kill me with no hesitation considering what she did to Astal moments ago.

"I see. Do you have a name?" She questions while her gaze stayed on me.

"Sevarian." I answer.

"Okay Sevarian. You can call me Rika, but that doesn't mean I trust you." Rika says while staring at me.

She was quite focused on me but I don't know if that's for a different reason or if there's something I'm missing here.

"So will you be joining me then?" I ask with a curious tone.

"Temporarily I'll join you, mostly because I need to see what's happening here." She responds while looking around.

Her dragon claw slowly disappeared and her normal hand began to appear once more. The only thing that remained was the horns she had on her head.

Seems she really isn't from here but maybe I can slowly learn about where she came from over time.

"Okay great." I say with a positive tone.

Experience Enhancer 4x More experience is gained with this companion around.

That's pretty damn useful, I'll definitely be able to power level with her by my side. Her level is pretty high already and she has an experience Enhancer which definitely will help.

"Is there a faster way for system users to get stronger Rika?" I ask while shifting my eyes away from my menu.

"There's places known as Vizens, or I guess in your world it would be called a dungeon." Rika answers while crossing her arms.

I figured dungeons would exist but to think she knows of them already makes this a lot easier to figure out. If she knows how to get there then this will be even easier.

"Do you know where one could be?" I question.

"Sigh. I know of one but it's probably a bit dangerous for you." She answers with an annoyed tone.

A more difficult dungeon means more experience if passed considering the difficulty. Usually if you're under level it's known as a compensation mechanic.

"Let's go then." I say while closing my menu.

"Fine, it'll be your death." Rika replies while beginning to walk.

So it seems that I was finally going to see what else the new world held, thanks to the help of Rika. I began to follow her for the next hour or two while she took us to the first and only dungeon she knew of.

I'll definitely be able to power level quite a bit here if I'm smart. I definitely have to be careful with how I do it though, considering the level difference with dungeons usually.

But finally I could see what appeared to be a strange opening within a building. Though it was nothing like an ordinary building at all, there was a strange feeling the closer we got to it.

"This is it." Rika says while standing near the door.

"So we just go through there?" I ask while acting like I don't know.

I can't let too many people know that I'm aware of so much or it could pose a problem. Though I'm sure I might be able to trust her eventually if she proves that she won't kill me.

It seems I have to enter the dungeon either way so it doesn't really matter.

"Follow behind me." Rika says while grabbing a hold of my hand.

Suddenly she dragged me along in through the opening and everything began to change around us as a new environment formed. It was like we had entered a cave all of a sudden, this was definitely a dungeon.

"Wow, this is definitely different from out there." I say while looking around.

"Vizens are always like this. But if you want to survive, work with me." She says with a serious tone.

I thought she didn't care moments ago? Hmm.
