Meet Me

Dashing towards the man before me it was time to see what this enemy held. I've not fought any crazy mobs just yet so this will definitely be a bit different from killing zombie like mobs.

As I approached I jumped up and swung my sword down at the knight. But as my sword came down the knight took the hit and dashed to the side.

Hmm so it lacks some things but it still has some speed to it so I'll have to be careful here.

The man from before quickly got up and began to run away, not even a thank you. Sigh.

It seems the knight doesn't speak either but it's not moving so what exactly is going on here?

That's when suddenly the knight turned to dust before me as someone came from behind it.

At least I got the experience for killing the damn thing but who is that?

"It seems you've found me but you're a lot earlier than I expected." Azentin says.

Azentin? That's the Messenger I was supposed to find but wasn't that supposed to be a lot closer to the school.

"Early?" I question.

"You're a lot more eager to complete your quests then the other system users." Azentin answers while getting closer.

"It's vital to get stronger before it gets harder." I say while staring at the person before me.

I'm seeing a pattern with these beings, all of them wear similar clothing for the most part but they are different in some way or another. Azentin seems to be more aware of things compared to the shop keeper one I met.

"You're smart. That's correct, it is the best approach. But now you must find one more person." Azentin replies while standing before me.

"Another person? Who?" I asked while thinking.

The quests aren't that hard yet so I'll definitely need to enjoy the easy ones while they last since it only gets harder. At least that's how it goes.

"A girl, she has long pink hair, horns are on her head, and she posseses dragon like powers. She should be wearing a school student like outfit." Azentin responds while walking past me.

A girl with dragon like powers? That's kind of crazy to think about considering how powerful that must be.

"Okay. Thanks." I say while waiting a moment.

~Quest Updated! Find the Girl, last seen near Sinzu Marketplace. Reward ????

I'm getting quite the damn workout traveling around but I better get a pretty good reward out of this damn thing. I turned around for a second after that thought and realized that Azentin was already gone.

They really don't stick around very long after all. Guess I know what I have to do now.

I'll save my levels till I can hit 20 so four more levels will do, then I can level up. For now I need to find this girl, it shouldn't be too hard considering I haven't seen many people with that kind of appearance.

So slowly I made my way towards the marketplace but it wasn't a close place by any means, in fact it was about an hour or so of walking. I didn't look forward to it by any means.

But as I walked I began to notice more and more mobs appearing around me. It seems they do come back but I wonder what brings them back here.

Do those gates lead to them respawning here or am I wrong?

I at least need to get close to 100 before trying that first gate, it seems like the best idea considering what I've encountered so far.

"Boo!" A familiar voice shouts from behind me.

I turn around to see Astal who thought he could scare me of all things going on right now. The only thing scary about him is the way he sees the system he has.

I'll have to be on guard for that purpose alone but for now I'll play along with him.

"What are you doing around here Astal?" I ask while facing him.

Astal was wearing a hoodie that covered his face up, it was protected by some sort of chest piece, and you could just barely see his long black hair hanging out from the hoodie.

"Doing as this thing tells me." Astal answers while looking behind me.

"What exactly is it telling you to do now?" I ask while staring at him.

"I need to find this person and kill them but it doesn't seem like they are around here." Astal responds with a serious tone.

Astal is definitely the type who will kill without good reasoning so I'll have to watch him whenever I encounter him. Including now since I don't really know who his target is just yet.

"Good luck with that. I got something I'm doing too." I say while beginning to walk away.

That's when I felt him grab my shoulder.

"Oddly enough you seem real close to my target description." He says while holding my shoulder.

Does his system want him hunting other users? That's insane, unless he's got that of an Adventurer system. That would mean I'm his enemy by default since technically that's what players in the game were considered if they had this power.

"Coincidence." I reply with a serious tone.

I still had my sword out so it's not like I'm not ready for a fight but I'd prefer not to shed human blood if possible. Though I'm not even sure if I could handle shedding human blood since it needs to be for a good cause.

"I definitely don't think it's just a coincidence. You definitely have to be my target, though I'm not sure it'll be much fun." Astal says while gripping my shoulder.

Hmm so my system can pickup on certain things it seems.

Suddenly I began to feel pain in my shoulder as his grip got tighter. This bastard is really going to try and kill me?

That's when suddenly something happened that separated us from one another.
