Chapter 23 Welcoming Party

Nicole left the study and went downstairs to get some cleaning tools. After tidying up the mess outside the study, she went back to her room.

The next morning, Nicole went to the company looking like a zombie. When Jenna saw her, she jumped up. "F*ck, what did you do last night?"

"Don't sit on the desk, what if someone sees you?" Nicole pushed Jenna down from the desk. "I didn't do anything, I just had nightmares the whole night."

"The whole night?"

"That's right. It kept going on and on. It was too torturous." Nicole yawned. She was listless and her eyes were bloodshot.

She barely slept last night. As soon as she closed her eyes, she dreamt of Darwin taking her bone marrow by force when she didn't agree to donate.

It was scary how realistic the dream was. Nicole even wondered if Darwin would really do that if she refused to donate.

"What kind of nightmare did you have?" Jenna approached Nicole and asked with interest.
