What is an Akuma?

Renzuki, the Hotodari Family Leader snapped his fingers once more and he appeared back in the Human City of Yoriz. Although it seemed like he had spent time in the dimension, less than a minute had only passed in the real world.

He had the ability to control the flow of time in the Dimensions he created.

After picking up the Heart-Shaped Gem, He travelled back to his Base.

His Base was like most, far away from civillian areas but just close enough to react during emergencies or attacks. It had a main building at the very centre which was cylindrical in shape and was also the biggest one. The ones around it were about a couple hundred meters away from it. They all had the signature color of the Hotodari Family, Green.

There was also a statue that was ahead of the main building, it was made with a green substance and it depicted a muscular, bulky man with long hair who was in his mid-thirties.

He was Renzuki' Grandfather, who was given the name Tensuki Hotodari.

Renzuki moved with speed to one of the buildings which was a Research Facility where research was being done on Drachs, Raw Magic, Potion Materials and lots more.

As he moved in, the scientists could be seen sporting green tinted coats with diamond crests.

Renzuki handed the Heart-Shaped Gem that Black had left behind when he was annihilated over to a scientist who went by the name of Grey Huruden or Dr. Huruden as his colleagues called him. He was the top scientist in that part of the Facility that worked mostly on Drach Items or Valuable Items.

"Can you tell me what this is?" Ren (Renzuki) asked.

The Doctor began to examine it with the use of Microscopic Lens and a fter a few more tests, arrived at a theory.

"This is an Akuma Gem. An Akuma is a... oh, no." As he said those words, the reality of it hit on him. He was thinking that maybe he made a mistake when examining it so he began to do everything all over again, this time more carefully.

Ren noticing this couldn't help but ask. "What's wrong?"

"An Akuma is a Demon who's been exposed to raw magic for way too long. Its usually a practice done to Demons who have committed atrocious acts over 70 years ago. If I may ask, where did you get this from?" The doctor asked.

Meanwhile, Ren's whole body was almost shaking. All the battles, the suffering,... the deaths. All the things he had been told about that occured during the time the Demons waged war on them began to ring in his ear.

"But I thought my grandfather and the others sealed them all away and the others were driven into hiding in the other Nations." Ren thought and Dr. Huruden could hear what he was saying as he said so in whispers.

"Unless, the Seal has been broken." Ren said.

The next day in MCA was a bright saturday morning, the students were having fun hanging out with each other, others were playing sports while the more serious ones trained.

Arina and her friends which included Luz, Serena, Zane, Vanessa, the Shadow Caster Yuri, Ayato and Kuro.

They all sat together on chairs circling around a long table where the board game known as Beast Warriors was placed.

Usually, Arina and Yuri would be hanging out with their own main group of friends but they seemed to have a change of mind when Vanessa and Zane had asked for them to come, saying "Arina/Yuri and her/his friends be there." Zane and Vanessa respectively told them.

They were playing on teams of four with Arina, Ayato, Kuro and Luz on one time while Serena, Yuri, Zane and Vanessa on the other. They were playing together in groups each having a pair of cards but they would usually consult Luz or Vanessa on important decisions since they were all new to the game.

"And boom!" As Luz dropped a decisive card that won the battle, a large, ear piercing, explosion occured behind her. One that was too large to be ignored by anyone because not even training would make such a loud boom.

The eight of them turned around to see the cause of the explosion and it was from the forcefield being brought down forcefully from the outside through a large impact.

The barrier that was like a thin layer or swirl around the entire academy that was powered by the Raw Magic in the Well exploded like a million, tiny sparkles.

The cause of the explosion, the ones who forcefully entered the Academy were two humanoid looking beings but they didn't look like any normal race.

"Who are those guys?" a student asked, threatened by their presence. They had strange beastly body-parts such as horns and long scorpiom tails with stingers at the end.

"Who? You mean what?" Another female student said, bringing her Charm out of camouflage and as she did so, others did as well. The students were obviously scared of the humanoid beings who resembled Akuma Black in every way. But they had gone through the pains and hardships of war.

"The Teachers aren't around right now so we need to hold them off." A masculine voice spoke up.

They were ready to take on these people who were threatening their academy.

The Two Figures walked slowly and calmly, clearly not afraid by these students act.

"Lightning Casting: Twin Danger Daggers!" lightning pulsed out from Cris' wrist and took shape in the form of daggers.

He ran forward towards them with speed faster than the average Caster because of his body training at the Krueger Base.

The one with a blue Heart-Shaped Gem in his chest swung out his left hand which illuminated with a blue glow and he grabbed the two daggers, slowly changing them to ice before shattering them.

Seeing that this Akuma who was known as Akuma Blue could freeze things at a touch, Cris moved back while the other students began to fire attacks toward them.

This caused a lot of smoke to build up around them, after all the ones actually attacking were the Second Years who had experienced much more than the First Years who were even too scared to attack.

Their attacks however didn't get through to them because the one known as Akuma Red swiped his hand across the air and red flames formed in the air and created a powerful barrier that burned up all the attacks that came towards them and the Second Years could see it when the smoke had cleared when they stopped showering blasts of magic.

His flames were just too powerful for any attack to get through to them.

"Enough defence!" Akuma Red jumped towards the students, his intent to burn them to ashes with a touch since his attacks were all short to mid range.

"Mime Casting: Fake Wall!" Staria had acted as she arrived in front of the group of students Red had targeted and put up her defensive Spell.

The Spell seemed to have worked for a moment as Red gritted his teeth when his body made impact with the Wall. He fell to the ground but stood up soon after and as he touched the wall, it began to burn up until it was completely incinerated.

It looked surreal, since normally the Fake Wall and all the Spells Staria had were invisible so it was like seeing nothing in the air being burnt up in bright flames from the bottom to the top.

Some students seeing the fire power and overall ability of Akuma Red took a step back and some ran into their dorms to hide.

However, Arina, Yuri and their friends who they were playing the game with came forward. Arina and Yuri's reason were to try to hold off or possibly take out the enemy while training on the side. The others had the same reason more or less.

"Staff!" Luz pulled out her Drach Weapon, the Sync Staff. She let it float in the air and Vanessa, Zane, Yuri and herself got on it while Arina and Serena floated on the Light Board. Ayato and Kuro got on Ayato's Spell known as Leo Rider.

They were going up against new enemies who they had no information on so they at least wanted the arial advantage.
