Side Story: DSCH Battles

Luz walked around her room, looking for something. Her room had multiple paintings of fictional creatures such as a phoenix, harpies and cats with rainbow wings. The walls were painted magenta with the floor having regular yellow tiles.

Her roommate was a girl named Iris but she currently wasn't around. Luz looked below her bed where she finally found what she was looking for.

"Finally." Luz held a deck of blue cards and some papers in a box.

Meanwhile, Yuri and Ayato were taking a walk around Campus, it was a saturday so they were free.

At the same time, Arina and Serena were also walking, coming from an opposite direction from them.

They finally met with each other.

"Arina." Yuri said, a bit unpleased.

"Yuri." She said back in the same manner. Ayato and Serena did not talk as it felt a bit awkward.

Suddenly, someone's arms were around Yuri and Arina and was currently in the centre.

"Hey guys. I have a game we can play." Luz said, holding the same box in one hand.

"Sorry, but I can't, not with him/her." Yuri and Arina said to each other simultaneously.

"Come on, it will be fun." Ayato told his friend.

"Yeah, it'll be great." Serena also told Arina.

"Fine." They said and sat down on the field.

Luz arranged a board on the game. The board looked to be divided into four places. One looked so technological and evolved with tall buildings, this was the Human region. The other two looked similiar facing opposite each other except more magical, these were the Caster and Seraph Regions. And finally, one looked like a volcano made up the whole terrain with large spikes and lava flowing all over, this was the Demon region and it faced the Human region.

There was also a small desert border between all four regions.

"So the rules of the game is simple." Luz distributed the drawing papers and special pensto them on the table and chair they sat on which Luz had kept in her Compartment bag.

The papers had a space to draw along with some spaces to fill which read.

"On the drawing paper you are each to draw your avatar on the paper. Don't worry if you're not good at drawing, the pens have a way to read your mind. You also have to fill those spaces."

The others mood heightened up especially Arina and Yuri and the latter even smiled for a while, but it only lasted about three seconds. They filled the information and drew their Avatars and like the magic it was, it gave the perfect vision of what was in their head.

"After doing that, one of you will select which region to spawn in and I, as the game master will select which place you have to get to and the challenges you have to face."

"I'll choose the Region we spawn in." Ayato wrote down the Human Region on the paper Luz gave to them. Luz gave off a mischevious laugh.

"I choose the Demon Region." Luz wrote down on the paper.

"What's the name?" Arina asked curiously.

"The name of what?" Luz was dumbfounded.

"The name of the game?" They asked simultaneously.

"Oh yeah, it's called Demon Seraph Caster Human or DSCH Battle." Luz said and tapped on the board and everywhere became blurry.

Suddenly, the light came back and they could see but it wasn't the Campus field they had seen before. Instead, everywhere was full of technology. Robots moving left and right, advanced cars and tall buildings.

They themselves were currently on one of those tall buildings wearing what they drew.

Yuri had dark blue spiky hair wearing a black leather jacket with dragon heads on the shoulders along with blue jeans and black shoes. He also held a silver medium sized shield as his Drach Gear.

Ayato on the other head had dark red hair with multiple strands going a little past his ear covering them partially. He also wore a bright red shirt and orange jeans with black stripes and an orange sword with a tiger head on the hilt.

Serena had her hair the same with purple shades still showing her eyes partly wearing a full body purple outfit and two daggers shaped like boomerangs.

Arina finally, had golden-orange hair going way past her waist with two loops by her ears. She also wore a dark gold chest piece with tassals coming from the back as her Drach Gear and white jeans.

"Wow. We look so cool." They said as they took a better look at each other.

Then abruptly, a large beast resembling a bloodhound but with a longer body and skin made of metal appeared.

Suddenly, a tab appeared in front of them.

[Climb down this building by defeating the Silver Hound.]

"Let's have some fun." A voice echoed in their heads, it was Luz's.
