Adam Vs Arina

"I accept." After some thinking, Arina finally accepted which left Luz shocked.

Normally, Arina would have disagreed to this as it would draw too much attention to them but frankly, she was tired of Adam and his superiority complex.

Adam and Arina, along with their class headed up to the field.

'I have to make sure not to use my casting.' She thought.

Arina and Adam stood opposite each other, a few metres away.

They activated their Charms, Arina brought out her hairband and Adam brought out his crimson red ring.

"Ready.." A boy from their class acting as the judge asked standing in the middle but away from the fighting zone.

"Go!"

Arina pulled out her wand and pointed it at herself, a yellow glow came off her and she cloned herself into five people. Adam held out his hands and created five flaming dragon heads and blasted them out.

But Arina created the Light Root after deactivating the clones to avoid it by using it's wide body as cover.

"Halo Fists." Arina said quietly and white magic gathered and pulsed out on her palms, constantly glowing.

Since that fight against Light, she had unlocked two more Gems on her Caster Charm and had two on her Seraph Charm.

Arina ran up to him, faster than he could see.

"Ha!" Arina threw a punch at him but Adam barely caught it.

'How is this girl so good at throwing fists?" Adam created a dragon in his hand which let out fire from it's mouth, blasting Arina back and making her land on the ground.

Burn marks were seen on her hand from that last attack because she tried to block it with her arms.

Arina got up,ran up to Adam and kicked him in the face. Adam threw out a kick of his own with his leg covered in fire and she tried to block it with her arms but once again, she was blasted back to the ground. A wider range this time though. Adam ran up to her, fire gathering in his hand as he created a spell but Arina thought quickly.

"Power hidden that I wield, brighten up the place, Sun Field." Arina activated her other new spell and hid it in a rhyme.

A red field was cast over them, sort of like a transparent dome and when in it, it gave Arina more stamina, agility and other things.

Arina got up and began to run but Adam chased her.

"I'm not letting you get away." Adam gathered two dragons in his hand, much bigger and much hotter than before and let it out but..

*Boom

A beam had been shot out from the dome and countered his spell.

Adam had realized his Open Gems' time had run out while Arina still had ten seconds left.

She walked up to him while he was weak but did not attack any further.

"Arina wins." A boy declared and the class cheered for them.

"Good game." Arina brought out her hand and Adam looked at it before taking it.

"Thanks."

As Arina walked back, she quickly remembered something.

'Damnit, I was too caught up in the fight and used my Casting. Hopefully, that doesn't come back to haunt me." she thought.
