"Black Spear!"

"Ray Blast!"

Yuri and Arina released their attacks and they ended up combining with each other and taking down the huge monster made of rock that was conjured by a Seraph.

Before they could attack again, they both felt a pain in their back and they fell to the ground. The Seraph they were fighting took advantage and after getting closer, they pulled out their Spear and released a blast of magic from it.

Arina and Yuri tried to move but the pain was so strong that they didn't think to pull out their Healing Potions and even if they did, their body wouldn't listen to them.

"He's really gonna try to kill us, I have to use it."

Arina pulled through the pain and her Seraph Charm appeared on her head but as she stuck her hand out, the pain became stronger causing her to deactivate her Charm.

But luckily, before the attack could hit them, a shadow covered them and whatever had appeared in front of them had stopped the attack.

When they looked up by slightly raising their necks, they saw a wall of slime in front of them and next to it was a guy with orange slicked back hair wearing glasses and a Drach resembling a fox.

"Zake!!" Arina and Yuri shouted. Zake hearing his name, walked towards them.

"You're welcome." He opened their mouths and poured the healing potions he had on him into their mouths.

After some time, they gained enough strength to get up. When they looked up, they saw the Seraph had been taking care of and was also missing an arm. In front of him were two girls, one with short green hair and the other with long pink hair. It was Sila and Vanessa.

Unlike last time, the Krueger Family did not get help from the other Families as they themselves were busy.

The Seraphs Sun Five were going up against were from a particular Seraph Family called the Kami Family.

Like the Casters, they were also five Seraph Families who also helped significantly in the sealing of the Demons away.

"You guys must be tired." Vanessa said as she looked at Yuri and Arina.

"Who wouldn't be after two weeks of non-stop battles. The First Years have been told to head back to base. A Speedplane is waiting for us." Sila said as she checked if Yuri and Arina were strong enough to move.

"Don't worry, we're fine." They replied simultaneously.

After more than two weeks of non-stop war, the First and Second Years were finally given a break. They had been forced to be more brutal in their last few battles as they had lost twenty percent of the Krueger Soldiers in previous battles.

For the First and Second Years, knocking out an opponent was no longer an option. They had to either remove a body part such as a limb or to kill them and most of them couldn't go through with it so they chose the latter.

Arina, Yuri, Zake, Sila and Vanessa were taking a stroll around the Krueger Base wearing their casual clothes but were still on guard as the base could be attacked at any time.

As they walked around the Headquarters, they heard some of the Second Years whispering and murmuring about something but this time, it wasn't them but someone else.

"Yeah, he lost his left arm and right leg." One of the Second Years told their fellow colleagues.

"I know. He tried to get it healed but it's not possible, not even the professionals know what to do."

"That explains his robot parts."

They were talking about Felix, the second year who Yuri had left with a few limbs missing so fast that Felix didn't know it was him.

When his teammates heard this, they were all shocked except Arina who already knew the truth as Yuri had told her.

"Wow! Who would have been strong enough to do that? I definitely wouldn't want to be in the same room as them." Zake commented which made Yuri feel a bit uncomfortable.

Arina seeing this moved a bit closer to Yuri without the others realizing and mouthed a few words.

"Don't feel bad. He deserved it." She reassured him and he inwardly blushed and had to hide his ears which were slightly red.

Yuri couldn't help himself. Like Seraphs and Casters, Demons had different stages.

[Demon Warrior: Stage 6-9]

[Demon King: Stage 10-12]

The difference between the Stages was the level of power they had. Like Drachs, there was a significant gap in power between each but for Demons it was different.

Since Yuri was on Stage 5 (Demon), he had a few side effects such as anger problems and impulsive behaviours.

He also had a few skills such as Healing, Mind Control and...

"Oh, he's so handsome. How come I've never seen him before."

"Yeah. He is kinda hot."

The other skill he had was called Enchant which made girls flustered around him and this was a skill he did not like as he didn't get the point of it.

"I wish I could turn this off." Yuri thought.

The last skill he had was the ability to steal magic.
