Carl's POV:
My brothers and I were doing our homework, whilst listening to songs, when the door bell rang. I quickly sprang to my feet to open the door, when I was stopped by my arm. I turn around and look at my brother, Nathan.
He is the eldest of us all. He is approximately 4 Hours, elder than me and 2 hours elder that Adrian. He is also the most mature and responsible one.
"We have to wait for daddy to open the door. We are not allowed to.", he spoke, his voice completely void of any emotions, so was his face.
He became much distant when our baby sister was taken from us. She was our little sunshine. But one day...
#FLASHBACK
ONE YEAR AGO
Today is Christmas!!!
I jump out of bed and run to mommy and Daddy's room. I knock on the door but hear nothing. So, I barge in.
I see daddy sleeping, but no mommy. I quickly dash towards him just like superman. With alot of difficulty I manage to climb on the bed.
I then stand and jump on him. He wakes up, startled. I start giggling.
"Oh you cheeky little monkey.", daddy says, smiling down at me.
"Merry Christmas daddy!", I exclaim.
"Merry Christmas, buddy."
"Where is mommy and baby?", I ask.
He looks around confused and then gets up with me in his arms.
He checks everywhere and I notice mommy's and sissy's clothes and stuff are not there.
I see a look off panic on his face before he sets me down and makes a call.
I worry and think to go tell Adrian and Nathan what happened. I run back to their room.
"Rian!! Nath!", I yell at them.
"Let me sleep.", Adrian groans.
"Mommy and baby are missing", I say and in that moment Nathan and Adrian sprung from the bed.
Their eyes eyes wide with concern and panic.
"What!?", they exclaim at the same time.
I then get to them by explaining the whole situation.
By the time I am done,both of them have a look I panic and fear on their faces.
"Let's wait. Daddy will tell us, where they went soon.", Nathan says calmly.
Me and Rian nod.
....
It's been 4 days and daddy is still searching for mommy and sissy. We all are just barely keeping up.
Sighing, I walk to my daddy and mommy's room. Nobody has been there since they disappeared, daddy is in his office, working nonstop and Nathan and Rian have been in their own shell.
I walk in and climb on the bed. I can still smell mommy's scent and it soothes me. Small tears start falling from my eyes. Soon, I start sobbing.
After about 20 minutes, my tears start to dry. My throat feels dry, so I get down from the bed and go to the coffee table at the side of the room.
Looking closely I see a piece of paper kept below a glass. I pick it up and it says....
'I am leaving and never returning back. I am taking Bella with me too. Just know I love all of you and what I did was for all of our safety. Damein, please take care of our boys. If ever I can come back, I will. I love you and always will.'
"Daddy!", I scream as soon as I finish reading the letter.
He and my brothers come rushing in.
With shaking hands I hand the Letter to him,
He reads it and breaks down in tears.
"Daddy? Why are you crying? What's happening?", Nathan asks with a tremble in his voice.
"Mommy left for good with sissy.", I say and start sobbing.
...From that day on we never saw our mother or sister
until today.
