George POV

Am happy at the way things are turning out for me, first Sarah is now my girlfriend and everyone that is important to in life don't have any problem with the fact that she is my girlfriend. Secondly Aunty Rose just called and gave me the best news ever that Claire's parents sent her on a three months vacation which is enough time for me to do all that I planned regards to Sarah. With Claire absence now I don't think that any other thing that will be a disturbance to our relationship, unless there is an unknown enemy lurking around the corner.

Max for the first time since I know him was lost in thoughts, I noticed his mood while he was driving us back home but I decided not to say anything about it but whatever is going on in his mind is really disturbing him. Hey dude what's going on you seemed to be spacing out? I decided to ask him. Mmmm nothing much it's just something that have to do with Ella, he replied. I know that he is facing difficulties regards to getting Ella interest in him and am ready to help him out in any way possible. Well I don't think that anything that have to do with Ella is nothing much, it's huge bro and should be taken seriously and if you ever need my help don't hesitate to ask for it, I told him.

I hear you bro but you don't need to remind me to ask for your help cause I will definitely do that whether you like it or not cause you are my best friend and the only brother I have, Max told me while he gripped my hand and rest his head on my shoulder. God this guy is so dramatic sometimes I wonder if he is a woman how will it be with him, I bet it will be worrisome for people around him. I pushed his head off my shoulder and Max looked at me while pouting, Jeez remind me again how old is this guy. Okay Dude stop acting like a kid and tell me what exactly is going on between you and Ella, I said to him cause I want to know how I can help him.

Max told me all that happened today and I don't think there is anything to be worried about at least my best friend graduated from being the most irritating human being she ever met to being her friend,that's a promotion if you ask me. Bro I don't think you should rush things with her or you might lose this promotion you got today, I will suggest that you take things easy with her, I suggested to him. Max still looked troubled, what if her father want us to get married as soon as possible? Max asked.

I don't think what her father want should be your concern now, all you need to do is go with her according to her own pace cause she have been handling her father for a very long time now this will not be any different and more to it with you in the picture you will be able to control that man decision cause I don't think he will be able to say no to the CEO of Cobb's Enterprises, I told him while winking at him. Max smiled widely at the last thing I said, wow bro you are now a pro at this relationship thing and I highly suggest that you turn your knowledge into a career, Max jested. I laughed at what he just said.

Hey George that reminds me, what do you mean by I was promoted? Max asked. Of course I know he will let that slide but am not going to entertain him cause I have been itching to chat with Sarah cause am already missing her. I just laugh it off without giving him any answer and walked straight to the bathroom to take my bath and I can hear Max cursing at me behind the closed door.

I finished with shower and quickly wear my shorts and laid down on the bed with my phone. Luckily for me Max is no longer inside my room, I guess he already went to his room or he is downstairs looking for what to eat and yes he have a room in my mother's mansion cause he is her second son. I started texting Sarah and our conversation was going smoothly until she stopped replying to my messages. I was wondering if I said something wrong and I have to go through our chat but I don't see anything I said wrong there and am really getting worried. I was contemplating within myself whether to call her and find out what is going on when my mother called me to come downstairs for dinner. I know with my mother calling me by herself without sending the help to call me that only mean there is no way I am skipping this dinner. I went downstairs with my phone in my hand cause I intend to held onto it in case Sarah replied.

I arrived at the dinning area and sat down beside Max who is busy with his food not minding my presence, such a foodie. I dished out a little amount of food cause am not in the mood to eat. Son is that all you are going to eat? My mother asked. Yes Mum am not really hungry, am still filled with what I ate earlier, I told my mother. But that was six hours ago, Max chipped in. Gosh this guy have a bad timing of saying things, I glared at him which shut him up from saying anything further. Son is there anything going on? My mother asked in concern. No mum nothing is going on just like I told you before am not really hungry, I told her and while I was talking my dinged indicating a message just came in. I quickly opened my phone not minding the stares I was getting from my mother and Max, I checked the sender and it was Sarah.
