Chapter Four Hundred and Thirty-eight

Third Person POV

Anna begins her search for her perfect guy for what she has in mind, she has been moving from one bar to another around the area she believes that he lives, hoping to see him. She finally saw him hanging around one of the bars and from his looks, he look like someone who needs money and she knows that it will not be hard to convince him to do what she want. Good to see you again, I must say that you don't look good yourself, she said the moment she approached him. He turned around looking startled cause he is not aware that someone is behind him when he saw the person behind him his eyes widened cause she is the last person he want to set his eyes on. Hello Evans, Suprise to see me? Anna asked him while smiling. What are you doing here? He asked her in a harsh tone showing her that he is not pleased to see her.

That's rude, that is not how you talk to your friend, Anna said while pouting. We are not friends and we are not going to be one, Evans replied to her and started walking away. Okay, if you say so, what about a business partner then? Cause I have a job for you, Anna told him while waiting for his reply. Evans continues walking without looking back. I am not interested in your crazy business, He told her and continue walking. Twenty thousand dollars, Anna uttered and that was enough to halt Evans's movement, Anna smiled cause she know that she has gotten his attention. Let's go somewhere and talk, I don't think standing on the street talking is ideal, Anna said to him, she turn around and start walking towards the bar she saw him lurking around before. The two of them enter the bar and sat down, Evans orders beer cause he has been craving it but there is no money to buy it, while Anna ordered a glass of whiskey. Their drinks arrived and Evans gulped down the beer at a go, Anna sat down there smiling in satisfaction.

Why are you smiling? Is this your first time seeing someone that is thirsty? He asked glaring at her. No, am just wondering what happened to you, but that doesn't matter now, what matters is that I have a job for you, Anna answered him. What type of business are you talking about? He asked cause he is not ready to do anything dangerous and stupid for her, although the money is attractive there is a limit to what he will do for her. It's simple, I know that you know a lot of people into arms dealing and I need you to buy things from them, Anna told him. Evans looked at her like she has lost her mind. What are you up to Mrs Black? What are you doing with your arms? He asked her. You don't need to ask me such a question Evans, you know the kind of business my husband and I are into and it is getting dangerous as the day goes by, Anna explained to Evans. Deep down Evans knows that she is lying but he needs the money, he knows that twenty thousand dollars will go a long way for him.

Okay, what and what do you want me to get for you? He inquired. With a gun and a bomb that will be able to blast a room, Anna started what she wants. Evans smiled internally cause he know that it will be easy for him to get those things. Let's be clear here Mrs Black, after getting what you requested, am not having any business with you again, Evans tries to confirm his stand with Anna, cause he knows that anything that has to do with that lady is nothing but trouble. Yeah sure, after this we will be like we never met each other in the first place, Anna assured him. Evans accepted to get all those things for her. How are you going to pay me? He asked her. I will pay you ten thousand tomorrow and I will pay the remaining amount when you give me what I asked for. That's fair, I will send my bank details to you so that you will transfer the money together with the money to buy the stuff for you, Evans told her.

Sure I will do that, Anna assured him and left afterwards, after she settled their bills cause she noticed that they are attracting unnecessary attention and she don't want people there to recognise her. Anna drove back home, cause she still pretending that she is sick and she need to make the transfer to Evans from one of her accounts that her husband is not aware existed. Evans set out to look for the contact that can supply him with what Anna requested, although he needs money, he is not comfortable with what Anna is requesting, he is afraid that things could become very dangerous in the future and he will be implicated in the mess. As much as he wants the money, he also doesn't want to end up in the prison but remembering that he has loads of debt waiting for him, he decided to ignore all the red lights and go for it and save himself from debt. I will follow her after giving her the items to know where she is taking them to, maybe it will come in handy when the time comes, he said to himself.

Steve on the other hand is patiently waiting for Anna to tell him what her plan is, he still does not understand why Anna has to wait till Sarah is in her ninth month for her to execute her plan. What his son told him about dealing with a mentally deranged woman kept on disturbing his mind, but he chose to push it to the back of his mind so that he can get what he wants.
