"Captain, the terrorist camp is a bit ahead of us" Stanley said. Michael replied with a nod.

Within the airplane, the newly recruited soldiers where anxious and restless because this was their first mission but the others were as easy going as possible, chatting and playing as if it wasn't battle that they were heading towards.

"Bella ,do you notice the atmosphere of this place. Why does it seem to me like it's not a battle that we are going to. It seems more like a team's picnic. I thought we should all be tensed about our life and death in war with terrorists" asked Lisa.

"Yeah you are not far from the truth but it seems like apart from us the new recruits, others feel more alive like we are going for an adventure or something. Is this how confident they are. I even heard the terrorist had the upper hand in the last confrontation we had. I was thinking that by now, Captain Michael would have told us about the battle plan" answered Bella.

"What battle plan do you mean?" a soldier asked. Here ,we do not know the battle plan except in the battle field. We just do as the Captain says".

"You mean we don't have any strategy or battle plan. We just go there, running into a pack of wolf like a herd of sheep without a shepherd. Seriously? asked Lisa.

Haha laughed the soldier. "Not exactly, you know. It's just because we had a mission not long after you guys were recruited under our great Captain, if not you would have been thought our sign language and would be able to act according to it".

"Oh now I get it. But do you mean to say that only the captain makes and knows the plan?. Don't you think your blind faith to the captain is risky because once the captain is been targeted and killed, then we are like a fish on a chopping board left for slaughtering" asked Bella.

"Now that's a good question but irrelevant as well because we have Edward who is the right hand of the captain. He was the one that recruited you guys under the banner of the captain. He knows and understands the captain best. In secret we call him, the Demon. Also I must warn you, it is said it's better to humiliate Edward , kill his parents or revolt against the General commander than to talk back or disobey the captain. That is instant death,no two ways about it. And do you know the worse thing about this?. Your family wouldn't have any part of your corpse to bury, not even your clothes or anything you have made use of in this army will be spared" said the soldier. Bella and Lisa took in a long breath as the fear went down their spine.

"Now you know not to mess with the captain. In this camp, we watch each others back like it's ours and we live and die like brothers and sisters or better still lovers. We do things in unity as a family just don't screw yourself up first said the soldier with a wide smile. There was reverence in his eye as if to say he worships the unity in his team.

"I think I should leave you two to mingle with others and familiarize yourself with the team because that would be for the best. By the way am Edward, the right hand man of Captain Michael.

"Sir !!" the two ladies, shocked but comportedly saluted. "We are sorry for audaciously not recognizing and saluting our superior sir. We seek your indulgence".

Haha,he laughed. "At ease, it's no big deal since we are alone. Better go look up the board and know your superiors and their teams. By the way ,what's your names?".

"Thank you sir, am Lisa and this is my friend Bella said Lisa fidgeting. "okay" he answered and left.

"Seriously ,who describes and introduces himself as a monster and a demon. Like we have been chatting with a psychopath. Hope here is not full of such psychos said Bella. I was never told Captain Michael rears psychos into the battle field. I didn't sign up for this".

"Wait ,are you for real. You just shamelessly took my line. You didn't sign up for it?. Now maybe I was the one that signed it on your behalf" said Lisa as she rolled her eyes at her sarcastically. "Oh my God,what have I gotten myself into".
