THE BLIND DATE 1

On reaching home, I got another unexpected news from my mum, Alex, you will be expecting a visitor tomorrow by 6 so I want you to close early from work and come home so you will have enough time to prepare. Of course I knew mum was organizing another bind date for me, knowing fully well that I hardly talk to people. I didn't answer her and went into my room to refresh myself. I came out later and she served me my food. While eating she continued her discussion, Alex you going to work is not really good so having a husband will help ease off your burden, mum I neither complained nor am I complaining, so there is no use of a man in my life to distract me, I replied. Alex I don't know what's wrong with you but make sure that you come home early tomorrow so she said and left. Of course I can't go against her, so there is no other choice than to accept. I was done eating so I started recollecting the incident, I became bored and tired and decided to listen to some music before I dose of to sleep. I woke up a bit late at hurriedly ready myself and got dressed, before leaving the house mum reminded me of the annoying blind date, so without answering her I left for work but she knew I heard her.
