My Better Half (she's mine)

Kol locked eyes with her over his wine glass, she was as pretty as sin. He wanted her, he wanted to take her right there. He could barely remember the last time he felt this strongly about any woman. What surprised him most was the fact that he didn't just want her body, he wanted her heart too. But that won't be too difficult to get because since the first time she saw him, he's been able to make her heart flutter and her knees go weak. She wanted him this much even if she barely knew him. They were created for each other. They've got ties and nothing could pull them apart. This was her belief. This is a story of love between two people who were always meant to be together. But sadly, the surrounding misfortunes aimed at separating them pictures the opposite - that they were never meant to be. Warning: this novel has mature contents. Reader's discretion advised.

Drawn to Her 2

Kol was pacing up and down his room. He's always been very reasonable and unnerved when it came to women, not after what Trish did to him. But the way his body reacted to that lady he almost ran over a few hours ago was anything but reasonable.

Trish used to be his girlfriend until she dumped him for his best friend, Dan. He never believed Dan could stoop so low to screw his girlfriend behind his back. He loved her so much but she shattered his heart into a million pieces without thinking twice. She twisted his unconditional love to suit her selfishness.

But then his mind drifted off to that lady he met earlier.

'Why can't I just stop thinking about her?' he thought to himself.

She looked like she was going through a lot, emotionally. And deep down, he felt like consoling her but didn't know how to.

Her long brown hair flowed over her shoulders. And she's got the most beautiful eyes he'd ever seen. It's mesmerizing, enchanting and so attractive.

Her lips were pretty pale and dried, but then she licked them subconsciously.

Jeez, just that one move was enough to kindle a fire within him and a gush of desire overwhelmed him. If he were to have his way, he'd give her a good fucking.

He held her arms to help her get up and then he felt it. That spark like a jolt of electricity course through him, like they were connected. He couldn't help but wonder if she felt it too. And then she forced a smile. But even if it was forced, it was the most beautiful he had seen in a long while. Jeez, he was getting attracted to her already even if he'd only met her once.

He was jolted back to reality by the sound of his phone ringing. Work related, so he ignored it. He'd just call back later.

' fuck ' he cursed as he looked down at his pants.

He was so screwed. He was so fucking screwed. His damn cock was so hard and sticking out like a goddamn steel-pole.

How could he yearn for her this much when he had only met her once.

He knew that this monster beneath him will not be satisfied until he did something about it and really fast, so he pulled off his clothes and dashed into his bathroom immediately and shoved under the multi head shower. He stood under the running water with one hand leaning against the wall.

' fuck' he cursed as he stared at his hardened cock.

He had never wanted to fuck anyone like he wanted her. She was that enticing.

' I wonder who she is ' he thought to himself.

'Amy? Come down for lunch' Tiffany called from the landing as she rushed to Kol's room.

' Kol?' she called but there was no response.

' Kol?' she called again, this time rather loudly.

' yes Tiffany' he replied coming out of his room.

He was wearing a singlet and a blue jeans

' you're joining us for lunch, ain't you?'

' yeah sure. See you in a bit.'

he pulled out his phone from his pocket and placed a call to David- his personal assistant, as he strode down to the dining.

' David, please I need you to do something.'

' contact the marketing department and make sure to handle any issue. And please clear my schedules for the weekend'

' ok boss' was the response then he hung up.

He sat on the dining chair facing Tiffany and Amy.

' I can't remember the last time we ate together like this ' Amy said

' yeah right' Tiffany supported

' I seriously have to make up for it. That's what you'll say next, ain't I right? ' Kol asked

' of course you have to make up for it ' Tiffany replied

' but you should understand that no one's judging you, okay? We totally understand you.' Tiffany added.

' yeah we do' Amy also said

' really now, huh? You totally understand me? But the case was the exact opposite an hour ago'

' you know I can't stay mad at you for long, right?' Amy defended

' yeah I totally agree with Amy, always and forever remember' Tiffany said placing her hand across her chest

' FYI, you're totally forgiven' Tiffany added

' oh God! I just got back and you guys won't even let me have lunch in peace' he complained putting down his cutlery

' you're right. We're anything but peace' Amy replied with a smirk

' and prepare to have the best weekend ever, you'll love it trust me' Tiffany added

Rebecca was jolted awake from her sleep by the sound of her phone ringing. It was Maria, her colleague at work.

' hi Maria' Rebecca answered drowsily

' hey Becca, are you okay?'

' yeah, just that you woke me from a beautiful dream. For that, you owe me one.'

' okay, fine. Please I need you to send me the soft copy of ' FATED '. I couldn't find my copy, wanted to go through some lines' Maria said going straight to the reason she called

FATED was the name of the blockbuster movie they were working on and Rebecca was the brain behind it. She studied screenwriting but was gifted in novel writing. It's one of her best works so far which had aroused so much attention from the media and other related entertainment industries.

' alright then, give me 30 minutes.'

' yeah sure, thank you'

' you're welcome' Rebecca said and hung up

' holy shit!' she cursed afterwards, staring at her phone.

' it's 3.00pm' she said to herself.

She was supposed to go get some groceries from the supermarket. She thanked her stars there was just one few blocks away.

It was a full hour later when she finally arrived back at home, her arms full of groceries. She closed the door behind her and went straight into the kitchen to begin her magic. She is damn too good at cooking.

After placing the groceries on the counter, she quickly phoned her dad. He picked on the third ring.

' hey dad'

' Becca, please don't be mad at daddy. I tried calling you earlier, you didn't pick up.'

' so sorry, I was asleep.'

''so how did the surprise for Raymond go?' he asked

' Well, it was fine dad. I'll tell you all about it when you get back' she said rolling her eyeballs

' okay '

' I just want to make sure you're okay.'

' and I'm making spaghetti bolognese, one of your favorites.' she added

' thanks love. I've got some stuff to settle at the office. Once I'm done, I'll be coming straight home. See you soon dear.'

' bye dad' she said and hung up.

After putting down the phone, she got the ingredients out of the grocery bags and got everything ready: the saucepan, chopping board, knife and other utensils.

After she was done with cooking, she called her dad again.

He was the only one she'd got. Her mother died while giving birth to her, so she had grown up without having one.

' hey dad'

' hi darling' he answered

' uhmn, are you still at work? Cos I'm done and I want us to have dinner together. You know you said you were gonna make it up to me by coming home in time today, right?' she asked, trying to drive her point home.

'of course I haven't forgotten. I'm home already' he said.

' uh?' she said rather confused. Then she heard the blaring of the horn as her dad drove in.

'Hey dad' she said giving him a hug.

' uhmn… That's my baby girl' he said.

' oh dad, why did you have to stress yourself out this much? You don't look too good.'

' yeah, pretty hectic day'

' you know I can't take it if you fall sick. I'd fall sick too.'

' no one's falling sick, okay. I'm fine.' He said but she kept staring at him.

' come on Becca, I'm fine. Besides, I'm starving already.' He said

' okay dad, I'm sorry I overreacted. You should go freshen up already while I prepare the table for dinner.' She said rather sadly.

' Hey Becca, you didn't overreact okay. You were just being worried about me and I totally understand that.' He said hugging her

' I couldn't help it dad. I can't take it when I see you all so worked up. But I'm glad you're okay.' She said still hugging him.

' you should go freshen up.' She said pulling from the hug

' sure, see you in a bit.' He said going towards the staircase to his room.
