Third person POV
Later, at home after work, Akira shows Toshi some of his VHS and cassette containing data videos. Toshi was amazed and his interest in data videos blossomed. "Wow, let's play them. I had a tape player in the living room."
"I know!" Hachi chimed in with a suggestion. "Let's have a data night."
Akira and Toshi then glanced at him. "Data night?"
"It's a night where we watch and read data and make graphs and conclusions out of them."
Eventually, both the senior detective and the junior detective-in-training agreed.
And so, before dinner time, they all had a data night, watching data videos and reading data papers and make line graphs and conclusions out of them. Toshi was fascinated by that type of data medium and wanted to get more of those tapes so he could research and make conclusions. Akira and Hachi then told him that those tapes are very cheap and accessible and can be bought at any tape store. After that, by 7:54 p.m., the three of them had a quiet dinner time and evening routine. But still, their experience of making line graphs and conclusions with data videos and papers now sticks to them.
The following week was full of hard training and education to become junior detectives for Akira and Hachi.
At the same time, at the headquarters of the Kara Tech, Wao is now researching about Akira, planning to abduct him for his latest experiments. Although his plan to bomb the Shibata Supernatural Agency for releasing Hachi had failed, he decided to abandon that and focus on how to abduct Akira.
