Chapter 7

"You just came to the Kingdom of Portues and immediately announced that you wanted to challenge the King of Salem to a gamble. The King of Salem who was drowning at that time with the spoils belonging to the victims of his cunning, glad that there is another victim who will foolishly fall for his ruse." Damian said with a slight smile on his face remembering the first time Tom appeared changing the Kingdom of Portues.

"Didn't any of you find out about me?" Tom said

"No. For us your presence is already a miracle that can change the fate of us and the people so that we are free from the snares of King Salem's torture. Not only us, the people also think so." Leon replied.

Damian then sat back on his chair and crossed his arms.

"Besides..." Leon continued, pausing his words. Leon glanced at every concubine present in Anna's Flower Garden.

"You never told us anything. Your origins, who you really are. In fact, you never told us what was on your mind like when you suddenly smiled and then became gloomy." Leon said.

'Is that true? But there's no way that I, who pretended to be the owner of this body, suddenly told them who I really am. There's no way I could suddenly say 'I'm only thinking about my memories with my family in my other world'. It would be very strange if I said like this. You can think I'm crazy. Even though this world has magic as they say, but if I say that I came from another world and I was already killed by Lily and possessed the owner of this body. "See? I know you're thinking about something Tom. And I'm sure you won't tell us what you're thinking right now. Isn't that right, Tom?" Snort Leon.

Tom was surprised by Leon's statement. Of course he wouldn't tell them. He glanced at the concubines, their faces conveyed curiosity about Tom's thoughts as well as agreement with Leon's statement.

Tom sighed, unable to refute Leon's statement. He could not do or say anything to refute that statement. Because in reality, Leon's statement was not wrong. He wouldn't be able to tell what was on his mind right now. He couldn't possibly tell anything that could reveal his true identity, which turned out to be not the original owner of this body.

"Don't force Tom, Leon. I'm sure one day Tom will tell who Tom really is. Where did she come from, even what's on her mind someday if Tom thinks it's the right time. Right, honey?" Said Alicia defending Tom.

"That's true. But it's been more than three years since Tom took us all as his concubines. Aren't any of you curious about Tom? Who is she or where she comes from. No. We've already decided that then? It's not important right now. What's most important is what's on your mind Tom? Can't you just share with us a little what's on your mind?" Cerocos Leon without stopping. He couldn't accept that he was the only one who was curious about what Tom was thinking all this time. Why should they be concubines? Why should he appoint twelve people? So many questions swirled in Leon's head. Not only Leon, this thought also crossed their heads every now and then.

For Tom, Leon's words confused her even more. How not, he who is not the original owner of this body will definitely be surprised by Leon's words. Is it true that the owner of this body is so cold even to his own concubines. What exactly is the owner of this body hiding so that no one knows its origin?

Tom's face which looked flat but implied confusion made Leon sigh. He realized that the current Tom was the Tom who didn't remember anything even himself.

"Never mind. Forget what I said, Tom. Sorry if I got emotional like earlier. Maybe it's because I've been under too much pressure lately. Sorry if I took it out on you, Tom." Leon said with a sad expression on his face.

"It doesn't matter." Tom replied casually.

"I'll try to be more open to you guys," Tom continued. Tom's words startled the concubines who had been just listening. Tom, who is now willing to change just because of a little outpouring of his heart from his concubine, Leon, who wants to know Tom.

"If my memory comes back, of course I'll start changing." Tom said continuing her sentence which was delayed because Tom saw the surprised and hopeful faces of all of them.

Hearing the last words that came out of Tom's mouth, the concubines felt a slight disappointment in their hearts. But of course, there was still hope that they would get to know Tom if her memories returned. They looked at each other with hopeful eyes because they were starting to get close to Tom. Not only as 'energy-giving devices' by having sex and naming them as concubines, but actually as people who chose them for some other purpose.

"Okay. That's enough for me, and I'm sure the others will agree with me." Leon said puffing his chest and giving a satisfied face because Tom's decision was right for him.

The other concubines couldn't help but smile with amusement at Leon's child-like behavior as if he was going to be taken by his parents for a walk to the entertainment venue after whining all day. Their brief happiness was interrupted by the presence of Felix who stepped in from the main door of Anna's flower garden. Instantly, the room fell silent waiting for the words that would come out of Felix's mouth.

"I'm sorry for interrupting Your Majesty's time." Felix said while bending his body to 90 degrees. His voice was full of apologies for interrupting their precious time.

"Ugh. Can't you just let us relax for a bit Felix? It's rare that we all get together like this you know!"
