As the bowl of noodles with beef that was still hot and steaming out of steam was served on Tom's table, the man was surprised to find the stray little kitten who should have been immobile now struggling to get up from his child's arms, trying to lick the gravy from Tom's noodles in front of him.

"Father..." Tom's face looked pale now.

"Tom, I think it would be best if you go and live with uncle for a while." His father said with a heavy decision.

The young and small Tom stubbornly shook her head. Her thin and pale face was shedding tears that a child her age shouldn't have. "I'm not going anywhere." Tom replied.
