Chapter 139

Tom stared at Yue's long silver hair, thinking back to their half-hearted fight back then, and a bitter sensation that filled her heart. He couldn't bring himself to say any excuses in front of Yue.

Tom gripped Yue's blistered fingers… She had forgotten to treat her own wounds from overtraining her lute, but she still wanted to save the others.

Dakon's power flowed towards Yue through Tom's palm. The wound on Yue's finger quickly healed with Dakon's help. However Yuki's face turned from depression to pale white.

"What are you trying to say!?" Yue shouted. Yue pushed Tom away feeling completely desperate, "Why are you trying to give Dakon to me?" Yue asked.

Dakon was the only thing that linked him and Tom together, but Tom now wanted to return that power to him. Is denying her feelings not enough, is Tom trying to completely cut ties with her?
