"Haha, you flatter me!"

What the hell is this?

"No, lady Jenna, this is not flattery. It's a fact!" One guy said

What the hell am I doing here?

"Yes, lady Jenna, the way you moved in perfect synchrony with your lightning was splendid!" Another exclaimed.

Oh God!

"Yes, yes, when you charged forward, the way the lightning wrapped around you protectively, you looked like a daughter no a goddess of lightning."

Thick faced bastards!

I resisted the urge to roast them half to death. My lips kept twitching as I watched them spout nonsense after nonsense, like machine guns firing at full speed. Their fake smiles never faltered as they approached me.

What lightning goddess?

Weren't you the ones calling me a failure less than a month ago?

I was still thinking of ways to escape when I heard the voice of my savior.

"Sister, are these gentlemen disturbing you?" I heard a clear, calm voice say.

A faint fragrance filled the air, making everyone else shiver. But I looked on with shining eyes.

"Of course not, sister," I said, my smile wide.

"These gentlemen were just planning to leave just now, weren't they?" I said with a smile that was not a smile.

The men shivered at my words.

That smile!

F**k lightning goddess she's a devil!

"Ahem, of course, Lady Jenna," the first man said, before dashing away without looking back.

Immediately after, the rest of the men started giving different excuses, before scurrying away without looking back once.

"Tsk," I clicked my tongue, "And they call themselves men, yet they run away in fear from a woman."

"It's not like you can blame them," she said with a laugh. "After all, if they take in too much of the poison, their d**ks would shrink."

I looked at her with wide eyes, before bursting out laughing " so that's why"

F**kers don't want to lose their d**ks

Janet and I laughed for a bit and continued talking when we were interrupted by a voice that made me frown.

"Haha, Lady Jenna, nice to see you again," the voice said. "May I join you ladies?"

Draxus! 

I thought as I turned to look at the fool who had just arrived. My eyes turned cold as I stared at him. I could almost see the buckets of sweat rushing from his pores as soon as I turned to look at him. I smirked inwardly, but kept my expression cold as I asked, 

"What do you want, Draxus?"

[DRAXUS'S PERSPECTIVE]

After the introductions and all the diplomatic bullshit, Jenna suddenly disappeared from my sight. I searched for her through the crowd for over thirty minutes before I finally found her. She was being besieged from all sides by multiple other guys. Looking at them, I almost felt pity for them. After all, they were probably sent by the elders of their families to get closer to her, just like I was told to.

I decided to wait for a while. I wasn't shameless enough to join those other guys in flattering the same girl. I'd rather face the shame alone than have other people see me getting rejected. I have a reputation to keep, and I can't risk damaging it any further.

Another thirty minutes later, those guys were still there. In fact, their number even increased. More and more kept on coming in to flatter the same girl. The thought of it made me shiver. Thank goodness I wasn't born a girl. I can't imagine facing that army of idiots.

One hour!

Two hours!!

What the f**k?

Are these guys going to stay there the whole night?

Luckily, Janet came a few minutes later and chased them all away using her...

Damn!

I subconsciously covered my crotch when I discovered the content of the poison she was releasing. Seriously, what kind of devil is this girl?

I waited a while, just to be safe, before standing up and walking over to them.

"Haha, Lady Jenna, nice to see you again," I said, laughing awkwardly. "May I join you ladies?"

I suddenly felt like a beast locked onto me. Jenna turned to look at me with the coldest eyes I've ever seen. The way she looked at me, I felt like if I said anything wrong, she was going to kill me there and then.

"What do you want, Draxus?" she said, her voice lacking any hint of emotion. Her sister's gaze also locked onto me like an eagle eyeing its prey.

Looking at the gazes of these sisters, I suddenly felt like a lamb thrown into a den of lions.

Well... This would be hard 

Is this what they call mission impossible?
