CHAPTER 16 Unexpected Apology

　　"What a way to end the day," he said as he stood up to leave the office.

　　Autumn walked in at that moment. "I'll be taking my leave now. Goodnight, boss."

　　"Have a nice evening," Perry simply said and she left the office.

　　He felt the urge to ask her how she was going to get home, considering the heavy outpour.?

　　He knew it would be very hard for anyone to get a cab by that time in front of the company, especially when it was raining, but he shrugged it off.?

　　"She probably has an alternative," he muttered to himself, not letting her issue faze him.

　　Five minutes later and he was in his car already. The door of the company opened as the driver zoomed out of the building.?

　　Perry yawned due to tiredness and just as he was about to rest his back and take a short nap in his car, he sighted Autumn under the rain, waiting to catch a cab.
