I remembered that Eris has two brothers. And one of them was said to be at the same age as the main character.
But since I was born, that made it to the three of us.
I was able to catch a glimpse of my little brother.
He was 2 years younger than me, and he's still sleeping in the arms of his wet nurse asleep.
Unlike me and Eris, he doesn't have any red hair.
After the time he arrived the mansion has started to get busy.
Everyday the servants became even busier as the members of the family grew.
**(Transition)**
I turned three years old the other day.
After a time of continuous hard work, my magical energy had grown so much.
Everyday I exhaust all my Mana until I fainted, wake up, and repeat.
I woke up early in the morning like I usually do.
I went to my personal study room and opened up a magic textbook.
Julian got this book for me since I repeatedly asked her to get me one.
But since this is a noble family, she got me 5 of them when time passes. It ranged from all types of magic up to Advanced rank.
It even has a Divine Attack magic textbook that came from the Holy Kingdom of Millis.
I tested myself by trying every branch of magic I could.
Out of all them, Fire magic is what I'm really good at. I could already do them chantless thanks to the knowledge I got.
Second came the Earth, Water, and Wind magic. And then I could do a little bit of Healing. Although I still had a bit of a hard time doing it without incantations, it only takes time for me to do it.
That being said... I heard the door opening and some footsteps that followed then the door closing.
I turned and saw it was Julian.
"Leonard-sama, it's time for you to prepare."
I slowly closed the book I was reading.
Julian went to the wardrobe and prepared the suit I'm going to wear.
She started cleaning up and gave me my breakfast for me to eat.
Since today is a special day, the family members weren't required to eat together since they were very busy with the preparations for the banquet.
Nobles from all over the Kingdom were invited, and rumors said there were even some members of the Royal Family.
In recent days I was being strictly taught by my teacher on basic etiquettes and how to bring myself in order not to bring shame to myself and get mocked.
Of course I hated it, but I couldn't possibly act childishly and throw a tantrum. So I obediently practiced until my etiquette teacher was satisfied.
In the huge hall...
Nobles from all over the country and people with influence gathered in the party.
In this Kingdom the 5th, 10th, and 15th birthdays are a very important occasion for an individual.
It was a tradition that your family would throw a birthday party to celebrate. And this tradition has been beneficial for nobles to build connections.
My big brother was in the limelight. And each noble came to get to know him.
As a three year old kid, I was nothing more than a hindrance to this party.
I grabbed a few dishes of roasted turkey-like dish and attempted to leave.
"Young master, where are you going?"
Julian asked me.
"I want to eat outside, it's too noisy here."
There was all sorts of noisy old men laughing and chatting with fellow noblemen.
There were also some old women with thick make ups on their faces admiring their own dresses and jewelries they're showing off.
Spoiled nobles kids were playing and dancing.
I can't find myself anywhere to fit in.
"Alright, wait for m- Young master!"
I didn't wait for her and left immediately. I swerved through the crowd and lost Julian.
I sneakily left the big hall and ran with all my strength.
In the Balcony
It was twilight and the moon shines so bright.
The view of the garden below is beautiful and majestic.
I realized once again that this world is a magical and fantasy land where Dragons and Demons existed.
I felt at peace.
I gazed at the starry skies like jewels sparkling.
The full moon shines so bright you could practically see through anywhere.
In a distance I could see through the windows from the main hall where the birthday party is hosted.
Powerful and influential families locally and nationally were there.
I could see my elder brother's figure having fun chatting with some noble girls his age.
After reading the story, Eris' brothers were not given any relevance to the whole plot. They were vaguely mentioned in Volume 2 and they were seen during the Asura Kingdom Arc, but not more than that.
Although out of all the brothers, I shouldn't have existed in the original setting.
While I was deep in thought, I noticed something I never expected to see.
"The moon is so pretty, isn't it?"
A young girl, who looks the same age as me, appeared. She had golden blonde hair and blue eyes, dressed like a princess.
No, she is actually literally a princess for I knew who she was.
The Queen and the one who will rule over the Asura Kingdom in the future, Ariel Anemoi Asura.
I saw her earlier in one of the guest lists, but I haven't met her personally before as she's busy with other important people coming to talk to her.
"Indeed.. The moon illuminates brightly without the obstruction of the night's darkness." I said.
I found it really embarrassing to spout such cheesy lines, I want to dig a hole and hide in it. But in this world these kinds of pick up lines were considered to be really cool and poetic.
The princess chuckled, "That's really romantic. I didn't know there would be boys interested in poems and literature."
At this age, the boys found art and literature to be girlish. They found swordsmanship and adventurers to be more cool.
"You flatter me your majesty. Compared to the poems the bards tell their stories, I'm nothing." I said.
"Hmm, but I really think it's excellent." she pouted.
She looked really cute with it though.
"By the way your majesty, what are you doing here out alone in the night? Where are your maidservants and escorts?" I asked worriedly.
"Hmph, I don't want to stay there any longer. It's so boring and stuffy. I want to go outside and play." she said to me like a child throwing a tantrum.
Ariel was totally different from the princess I know from the books. Maybe it was because she was still young that she didn't have to think of her appearances or her safety yet.
She was like any other spoiled noble children I can find anywhere.
