Saving a Kidnapped Child

[Saga POV, later]

After the kind boy gave me food, I complied to his request to assist him in pursuing the horse rider that ran me over. Right now, we are running through the alleyway where the horse footprints are visible.

"Hey, what your name by the way?" I asked the boy, wanting to know his name.

"My name is Rudeus Greyrat" the boy introduces himself, which I nodded in response.

"I see. Nice to meet you, lord Rudeus"

"L-lord?! What's with that honorific?"

Rudeus was surprised that I addressed him with honorifics and he questions me because of it.

"Well, you saved me from my injuries and starvation. So, it is natural to address you in this manner to repay for your kindness." I explained.

"I see, if you say so. Let's hurry up"

"Yes, my lord"

We both quicken our pace and follow the horse footprints on the pavement. Since I am dog girl, I can also smell the horse from here, which means I can use this ability to pursue them.

"Lord Rudeus, I can smell them"

"Alright, lead the way, Saga"

"Yes!"

I follow the scent of the horse and run towards the direction of its travel. Eventually, the smell becomes stronger as we approach the end of the alleyway.

And there, we found the horse, as well as the rider who just unmount and carried a kidnapped child to a building. We then sneak towards the said building and took a peek on the window.

[Rudeus POV]

Upon peeking on the window, we saw the kidnapped child along with a bunch of men inside the building.

The men seem to be doing something to the child. However, I don't think they are hurting him because it looks like they are just feeding him with a bowl of soup.

"Lord Rudeus, what should we do?" Saga asked as she waits for my command.

I ponder for a while so I can formulate a plan to save the kidnapped child. Once I decided on the strategy, I look at Saga and said:

"I will distract these men while you grab the child and escape the building"

Saga nodded in compliance to my command but she pauses for a bit and then asked me a question.

"But my lord, what if they saw me and attacked me instead. How should I defend myself?"

"Well...."

I ponder again, thinking on how to solve Saga's predicament.

"I guess I can make you an improvised weapon for now. Any suggestion?" I said, which made Saga confused.

"My lord, what do you mean by that?" Saga asked, wanting me to elaborate my statement.

"I can make one by using Earth magic" I explained.

Saga's eyes sparkles after I told her my explanation, and she immediately has an answer to say.

"Then I want a Naginata, my lord"

After hearing her answer, I nodded and proceed to make her weapon. Honestly, she has a unique choice of arsenal just like Ceobe. How interesting.

[Third POV]

Several minutes have passed and Rudeus finished making Saga's weapon. He specifically made the blade harder and the pole was roughly shorter than Saga's shoulder height.

"Here you go, Saga" says Rudeus who hands over the weapon to his companion.

"Thank you, my lord"

Saga then test out the weapon by swinging it in various direction. Once she's satisfied with the result, she looks back to Rudeus and nods at him.

Rudeus noticed his companion's nod and interpreted it as a sign of readiness. So, he nodded back and they both ready themselves to break in.

"Saga, I will make an entrance on the wall. So, ready yourself" Rudeus said, prompting his companion.

"Yes, my lord"

Upon hearing Saga's answer, he made decent-sized hole on the wall in order for them sneak inside the building.

After getting inside, they both hide behind a stack of boxes and peek their heads out to see the situation of the kidnapped child. From the looks of it, the men were still trying to feed the child with soup.

"Why are they still persisting on feeding him" Saga whispered, pondering on reason of the scenario.

"I have no idea, but we're going to save him anyway" Rudeus whispered back while he is sticking his hand on a box of fabrics.

Saga noticed what Rudeus is doing and was curious what he is grabbing. However, that curiosity turned into terror when he pulls out the fabric.

"Lord Rudeus, is that a freaking panty?!"

Saga accidentally lets out a scream due to what she just saw and this cause the men in the room to be alerted by the sound.

"Who goes there?! Show yourself" one of the men shouted while looking at the boxes.

Meanwhile, Rudeus and Saga were visibly shaken by the fact that their cover was blown and the men knew where they are hiding.

"Dammit, they found us" Rudeus anxiously said.

"I'm very sorry, my lord. It's all my fault" Saga apologizes while blaming herself for their predicament.

Rudeus, seeing his companion in a state of panic, decided to do the unthinkable. He quickly wore the panty like a mask and jumps on top of the boxes to distract the men for her.

On the other hand, Saga saw everything and was absolutely speechless on what unholy act Rudeus just committed. However, she shrugs off that act and focused on saving the child.

"Who the heck are you?" one of the men asked when they saw Rudeus.

"I am Ruijerd of the Dead End, and I shall punish those who hurt and kidnap children!" Rudeus shouted, introducing himself with a false identity.

"Hey brat, you shouldn't play hero of justice here. We are-"

"Surprise Attack!!"

Before the men could finish their sentence, Rudeus blasted them with stone cannons and they were all knocked out.

"Now Saga, go get the child"

"Yes, my lord"

Saga immediately jumps over the box and head towards the child. However, there was something that she forgot to ask Rudeus.

"Lord Rudeus, how should I tell the child to [come with me] in their language?"

"Well, it's-"

*BANG*

Before Rudeus could tell his translation to Saga, the door suddenly bust open and more people entered the room. Two of them were female magician and swordswoman with a bikini outfit.

"What the hell happened here?" one of the newcomers asked while looking at the men lying on the floor. Then they look at Rudeus and Saga who were standing near the child.

However, the women focused their attention to Rudeus who was wearing the panty like a mask. The swordswoman is visibly angry at him because she recognized those undergarments.

"Were those my.... Grrrr" the swordswoman angrily said while glaring at Rudeus.

"My lord, what did the woman said?" Saga asked, wondering why the woman looks angry.

"Not now, Saga. I must do what I need to do. You should grab the child and run" Rudeus dismissed Saga's question and prompted her to escape with the child. Saga complied yet she has another question.

"I understand. But what exactly are you going to do exactly?"

"This...."

Rudeus then proceeds to do the unthinkable, which is sniffing the panty and do gross stuff with his tongue.

This caused everybody to become utterly disgusted by his action, including Saga who was regretting everything she has said to him.

"You enemy of women!" the swordswoman furiously shouted and was about to lunge at Rudeus, when suddenly....

*BONK*

Saga hit Rudeus on the top of his head and then takes off the panty from his face. After that, she calmly walks towards the swordswoman and hands over the panty to her.

She then bows her body at the woman before heading back to Rudeus and proceeds to scold him.

"Listen here, Rudeus Greyrat. I am tolerable person. However, if you pull that kind of shameful act again, I will not forgive you. Do you understand?"

Rudeus nodded frantically after hearing Saga's reprimands. On the other hand, the two women were watching them in confusion, not able to understand Saga's speech.

"Hey sis, should we do something about this?" the female magician asked the swordswoman. However, she just shrugs her shoulder and said:

"I don't think we need to. The beast girl is already doing it for us"

"But should we tell boss about this?"

"Tell me about what?"

While the two women were talking to each other, another person enters the room. It is haggard drunk man with brown hair and green eyes.

"Boss, hurry. You need to see this right now" the female magician hurriedly told the man.

"Step aside, you two. I will... settle.... this...."

The drunk man widens his eyes when he saw Rudeus and he unconsciously let go of the wine bottle from his hand.

*Shatter*

""!!""

Rudeus and Saga were startled by the sound of glass breaking and they look at the direction of the noise. Rudeus was surprised when he saw a familiar face.

"Rudy?"

"Father?"
