Nanny Mia

Mia was in her bedroom, tying her ponytail. Becca was playing with bricks in a corner. Suddenly, her phone buzzed near her.

"Hello, who is it?"

"Hi. Am Mr. Red. The guy you met earlier." He introduced.

"Mr red? Am really Sorry, I forgot." Mia chuckled.

"Alright dear. How's tonight? What do you say?" He asked her.

"Nothing. Want us to go for dinner?" He asked.

"Oh, sure. That'll be great." Mia smiled.

"I'll see you at the restaurant near Richardson's Textiles." He said.

"Sure!" She hung up and walked to the bathroom.

"Mom...do you have an appointment with someone?"

"Do you know Mr. Red, a guy from my workplace, he needs to see me." Mia explained.

"Okay mummy. I'll lock the door and no one will come in."

"Sure thing, dear." After her bath, she wore a long evening gown and a necklace. She grabbed her handbag, stuffed her medicines inside and left.

She got to the restaurant and Oliver already booked a table for them.

"Good evening sir."

"Evening, Mia Salvatore." She sat and waited for her to order.

"Some chips and juice." She said.

"You can order more, bills on me." Red told her.

"Not interested. Already had my dinner."

"Get her a plate of salad, and non-alcoholic red wine." Red ordered for Mia. Mia chuckled slowly.

"I appreciate the kind gesture sir." She thanked.

"Its no problem. Actually, I...I...want to apologize with this medium. I was rude the first day we met but...I guess you understand that Sheila isn't the nice type." He apologized.

"Apology accepted. I don't hold grudges. I know am a dressmaker or a needlewoman and am proud of it. If anyone insults me, I just smile and walk away." Mia said.

"I love your work. All you need to do is keep it up. You'll succeed." Red encouraged.

"No problem sir."

"Continue to do more for Sheila Mercedes. She'll reward you handsomely. We have a sister tho. Her name is Greta Mercedes." Red said.

"Oh. Please let me know when she needs a dress too." Mia smiled.

"She does. All her dressmakers failed her, and now she doesn't trust anyone again. She gives her fabric to industries." Red laughed.

"She shouldn't do that. If she trusts me, I promise she won't have to go to those industries again." Mia promised him.

"Oh really? Here's her contact. Call her and introduce yourself." Red gave her a book to copy the contact.

A car pulled to a halt in front of the restaurant. Two kids stepped out, dressed in chic ball gowns. Their two nannies also stepped out with a huge box.

"Is daddy here?" Dolores asked bossily.

"I think so." Nanny Brenda looked around the restaurant, and her eyes met Red and Mia's table.

"There he is." The children ran into the restaurants, and with a loud shrill, all diners stood up.

"WHAT THE HELL?! HOW DARE YOU GET CLOSE TO MY DADDY?! ARE YOU HIS GIRLFRIEND? DADDY, WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT WOMEN? THEY WILL NEVER BE LIKE MUMMY!!" Dolores and Bonnie thundered in unison. All diners were shocked and angry. The manager charged at them.

"OUT! WHO ARE THEY?!" The manager was furious. Red acted like he didn't even know them.

"DADDY!" They yelled. The manager Gave Dolores an angry hot slap. Her facials was so annoying.

"GET OUT!" He pointed to the door. The girls cat walked out of the restaurant, as the diners sat down again.

★THEY ARE LIVING WITCHES★

★HOW COULD THEY COME TO A RESTAURANT TO DISPLAY★

★I HATE THEM ALREADY★

★WHO'S THEIR FREAKING FATHER!★

"Aren't they your kids?" Mia was surprised. His reaction was plain.

"They are. They embarrass me all the time. If a parent gives in to those kids all the time, they'll ruin your life." Red rolled his eyes.

"I can't believe your kids are like this. What happened to their mother?" Mia was curious. His expression changed instantly.

"She...she...we divorced." He said, without looking at her.

"That's really sad. Am a divorcee too " Mia confessed.

"Their nannies are fed up of them. They stay no longer than 2-months. Their sister is at home, and she's the eldest. She causes more trouble than Bonnie and Dolores."

"I...I..I..can't bear what just happened there. The other one got slapped, you didn't even look at her. I love my daughter Becca to do that." Mia laughed.

"I don't know where else to find a patient nanny for them. Their mother left 3 years ago, and since then, its ten nannies for four months." He sighed.

"How about this? I come over to your place and take care of them after work. I promise I'll be patient with them." Red laughed loudly at that.

"You're gonna regret it."

"Nope. They'll like me." Mia said.

"Alright. I'll text you my address." Red stared at the clock and got up.

"I need to leave."

"Alright sir. I'll be at your place tomorrow for the kids. Get them prepared, cos they'll like me." Red laughed out loud.

"Sweet dreams, beautiful." Red smiled and she kinda blushed.

"Goodnight." They dispersed.

"DADDY! HOW DARE YOU?! YOU'RE A MONSTER!" Bonnie roared at her dad when he arrived.

"What did I do to you to deserve this?" Red sat on their bed.

"YOU KICKED MUMMY OUT! NO ONE CAN BE LIKE MUMMY! STOP HAVING GIRLFRIENDS, JERK!" Dolores yelled.

"Am sorry, dear."

"THAT CRAZY MAN SLAPPED ME! YOU COULDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING! YOU STUCK TO HER!" Dolores nearly cried. Red pulled his daughters into a hug.

"Am sorry darling. I'll make it up to you. Tomorrow, I'll kick Nanny Brenda out, and there'll be a new nanny."

"Finally!" They yelled in unison.

"Her name is Mia."

"Yay!!! Nanny Mia. Where's she from? Hope she'll be nice?" Bonnie asked.

"Sure. She's amazing. She's kind and cute. She's patient too."

"We'll see about that." Bonnie smirked.

"Where's your sister?" Red asked them curiously.

"Camp." They said at the same time.

"Alright, goodnight my angels. You'll see your nanny tomorrow." He tucked them in bed.

"Goodnight daddy! We love you dearly." He left their room and turned off the lights.

"I wonder why Mr. Oliver wasn't at work today." Archie asked Mia, but there was no attention.

"Don't you even care?"

"I don't." Mia lied, emailing him on her laptop.

"Okay then. Let's grab some pies. I'll go check on him after work."

"I have another part-time job now, as a nanny. You'll go help me pick Becca from school today." Mia told Reba.

"NANNY? FOR WHO?"

"Let me guess. Mr Red?" Archie guessed.

"Yeah. His children are problematic, and I need to get them on the right track before they murder their dad. You need to see them at the restaurant yesterday"

"Wait...you went on a DATE with their dad?" Reba was beyond shocked. Mia grabbed a mouse near her and threw it at Reba.

"I'VE TOLD YOU! I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THOSE MEN!" Mia was furious.

"Give me the pies. Even Mia will murder me so I need to eat." They snickered at her.

After work, Mia went to the address in her car. On getting there, it was another huge mansion, different from the one he saw her with Sheila.

"Amazing." She grabbed her handbag and entered the open gates.

"Good evening ma'am." The nanny packed some toys into her handbag, and ran off. Shortly after, another nanny walked out in tears.

"Evening..." She entered the living room, and saw Red's two kids playing, running after each other.

"Wow. Hi girls." The girls turned around stunned.

"Wasn't she the girl with Dad?" Dolores whispered.

"Exactly." Mia walked towards them and smiled.

"Hello kids. Am your new nanny. You can call me Nanny Mia." She smiled. They stared at her for a while and snickered loudly. Bonnie was holding a cage in her hand. She tapped the button twice and threw the released cage of termites on Mia.

"Waaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!"
