Chapter 25- Player Freedom

This time, Cryd spent an hour observing the pattern of the guards, their unknown habits while patrolling and the reaction of dogs to a certain distance.

The dog has a 5 meters smelling distance. Cryd knew this because he threw a stinky cloth a few meters in which the dog's nose immediately picked up.

Next is the guards, they are almost all in pairs, yes, not all has pairs, there was 2 guards who didn't have pairs, one is a muscular guy with he has a lot of scars on his face, then the other is a timid thin kid who seems like a nervous intern in his first job.

Thankfully, the kid isn't some hidden martial master but was really just a timid intern. Cryd then calculated the time he needed to reach the fence on the other side and how he would enter inside.

It took a lot of planning until finally, he created a finely detailed plan, Cryd then crouched near a car and waited for a few minutes for the thin kid to come up and the moment the thin kid aligned with him.

Cryd pounced out from his hiding position, first his hand covered the thin kid's mouth and then followed by a punch on the rib cage.

The thin intern has a weaker body than him so after being punched on the rib by Cryd in full force made the intern faint from the pain.

Once the kid fainted, Cryd immediately pulled the intern into a secluded corner and stripped the clothes off then hid the intern then Cryd wore the uniform he stripped, they have the same body size and since the intern is wearing a mask, they won't be able to recognize him, Cryd then calculated the time and he has a limited time to successfully execute his plan so he moved swiftly..

A few minutes later, just as the next guard is going to appear, Cryd comes out of the bushes.

"Hey kid! What were you doing there?"

The guard asked.

"I- i was looking for the bathroom sir!"

Cryd acted nervously like how the timid kid usually acted,

"Now, now, don't be too nervous, the bathroom is inside, go in"

"T-thank you sir!"

After those words, Cryd rushed inside like it was going to come out soon, seeing this the other guard shook his head before they continued patrolling.

While walking away, a big smile appeared on Cryd's face, he felt like he was lupin or a great thief or something and it felt exhilarating.

Once he entered inside, there were no practically guards as all of them were patrolling inside, Cryd navigated his way to the jail - like warehouse and entered inside.

The warehouse was full of sealed crates and were nearly organized, Cryd then pulled out a crowbar from his inventory which he picked up from the 3rd circle, he then opened one of the crates.

Inside were full of Legendary scraps which looked practically brand new with no deforms or any bruises, there were about 30 pieces of scraps inside a crate..

Cryd then looked around, there were more than hundreds of these boxes inside the warehouse.

"Hehe, the inventory has no limit functions and I didn't specify in the mission that players can only take 20 scraps"

Yes, the inventory function has no limit, Cryd purposely did this function since there are a lot of things player will have to carry, though, he did put some limit which is only scraps or materials can be put inside, also yes, there was no rule that players can only take 20 pieces, the mission just changes and there is no time limit on how long they can stay inside the scrap yard.

So without further ado, Cryd threw all of the items inside his inventory, these are all legendary scraps, he also found some legendary ores and some tools.

Cryd took all of them since he knew everything here will be refilled soon enough, about a week(real time), soon, Cryd emptied the whole warehouse.

Anyway, Cryd is very satisfied with his harvest, the warehouse is quite big and it was the size of 2 football fields and were filled to the brim with Legendary and Grandmaster tier scrap, ores, tools, the. owners are certainly rich, no wonder they could hire that many guards.

Cryd also found some blueprints in which he immediately took, after he was sure he runsacked everything, Cryd then strode out of the warehouse and then pretended to return to his job, but after a while, he saw a free time and immediatelt rushed out.

He met guards on the way but he just told them he was asked to do something outside and just like that, he easily left the scrap yard.

Once he was outside, Cryd didn't follow the navigation arrow immediately but started looking around, once he found a good clothing shop, he entered inside.

The NPC's greeted him warmfully, Cryd then looked for clothes that fits him, the good thing is that due to the progress of technology, a lot of things have changed, this also includes daily lives of people.

It wasn't anything bad, just casual clothes consisting of a white polo shirt, black pants and a black loafer.

After that, he submitted it to the employees and a few moments later, the clothes were handed to him.

Cryd changed his clothes then he went to pay for his clothes.

Cryd nodded and took out a Grandmaster Rank scrap that looked brand new, the employee then took it and checked the value of the item before showing Cryd the price of the Scrap.

Cryd nodded and after deducting the price of the clothes, Cryd received the rest in Credits in which he is given a free quantum watch which has his change.

There is no need to create a bank account anymore as credits is bound by DNA which made theft impossible.

Cryd looked at his credits which is 870 thousand, he left the clothing shop, and yes, the trade of parts/scraps is norm in the society of this world as such Cryd easily earned credits which is the main currency of this world.

By the way, the Grandmaster Scrap that Cryd gave earlier is of the lowest quality which is why it was priced very low, but if he showed a high quality jtem then its price will reach millions or even billions if he showed the legendary parts that he got.

This kind pricing is norm because there are a lot of zillionaires in this world, yes, the economy is a mess because of this but who cares, its not like its their problem.

Anyway, the reason why Cryd exchanged a low level item is that the establishment may not have the ability to exchange with him which is why he didnt go any higher.

Anyway, Cryd's goal right now is to exchange some parts for credits, he completely ignored the mission.

The mission is there to guide the player but it wasn't really required to be completed immediately.

Anyway, to exchange for some credits, he needed to go to an establishment that specializes in buying parts, which is a place called a pawn shop.

Anyway, finding a pawn shop is pretty easy as they were the most eye catching establishment in the city.

Cryd entered one and exchanged 5 Legendary parts and 20 grandmaster parts, he earned about 800 billion credits for the 5 legendary items and 2 trillion for the grandmaster parts from that exchange, and they didnt even hesitate with that exchange.

Yes, Cryd has become very rich with that exchange, though not as much as the zillionaires but it was enough for him right now.

He can stilll earn a lot in the future, Cryd then hailed a flying cab and brought him to a real estate company and the process is very fast and he immediately full bought a villa with a workshop for the price of 400 billion.

Once he got the property rights for the villa, his navigation mission is suddenly completed.

Yes, the navigation mission is to give players their own home/workshop, and also a family, etc, but since Cryd didnt go to his mission, he didnt receive any of those.
