Atalantas arrow peirce a guards throat as he tried to stop the bleeding.

* Slide * * Splurt *

I slid under the gates and cut the gaurds legs. Before he could scream, I finished him by beheading him.

" Well, it looks like we made it in." I spoke as I turned to Atalanta.

" Quiet." She said as she held her bow, ready for any targets that appeared.

Before she could move forward, I stopped her.

" Why don't you cover my back. Just take position on the tower and deal with any guards or soldiers from the outside." I said as I pointed at the tower no too far from us.

Atalanta looked at the tower and just nodded.

* Fwoosh *

Atalanta quickly ran towards the tower as I started approaching the castle.

I Unsheathed Mahiru-no-yo as I approached the large doors.

* Thud *

Putting my foot on the door, I slowly added force until the locks broke.

* Clank *

Pushing the doors open, I immediately swung my blade at the two guards that were ready to attack.

* Slice * Thud *

Their heads rolled on the ground as I passed them.

" Hehe, just like old times, right?" Mahiru spoke.

I ignored her and kept walking.

I turned to a hallway with guards.

With my high level of stealth, they didn't sense me before everything went black for them.

" Come on, be more brutal. Let's play with one!" Mahiru shouted excitedly.

I ignored her again.

" Boo, you're boring!!" She shouted.

" You're annoying. Be glad I'm even using you after that stunt you pulled." I finally spoke.

* Slash *

" Gurgk!" A gaurd held his throat as he reached out to me.

* Thud *

I just push him aside to the floor.

" Oh, come on!! I can't call myself a demon without taking advantage of your moment of weakness." She explained as she spread her arms out.

" You're annoying. The only thing useful is this blade. But you... you're just a liability."

" How harsh!!" She dramatically held her chest.

I started to notice that my personality got colder, like during the times I became a killing machine doing everything I could to assassinate and kill my way to kill Nick.

I stopped in the middle of the hallway at this realization.

" It's all coming back." I spoke.

" Huh? What's coming back?" Mahiru questioned as she looked up to my face.

" Everything."

The memories of Yuto and Aristos became one.

" Haaaa." I breathed out as I closed my eyes and lifted my head.

The last piece of Aristos' memories was absorbed.

I opened my eyes and looked out at the window. I noticed my eyes that were sharp look more gentle, just like Aristos.

All of his memories, his emotions, and his ideals.

And my memories, the trauma that I wanted to forget, the pain that kept moving me forward, and the hope to meet them once more.

It all came rushing in.

I slowly lifted Mahiru-no-yo above my head and looked up to see my reflection but only to see the moon.

' Yuto Yamamoto. Not Takahashi, Hatake, or... or Aristos.'

The trauma of losing Aristos, the pain I got when I lost Artoria, killed Scathach and Mordred.

And the past.

All that suffering, all that killing, the sacrifices I made. Only to fail in the end, failing to stop and kill Nick after everything I've done.

' I'm tired.' I thought.

' I'm tired of killing.'

I Sheathed Mahiru-no-yo and ignored Mahiru's talking and put the weapon in the inventory.

I took out Aristos' staff.

A black staff with golden runes inscribed into it.

I gently grabbed the staff and slowly traced my fingers on it.

" Chuckle, out of all things he made it was this. But it did suit him or me or him?....whatever." I spoke as I twirled the staff and walked forward.

As I turned the hallway corner, I immediately rushed forward before they could react. I had already passed them as they slowly fell unconscious.

* Thud Thud Thud *

They fell as I kept walking forward.

* Swoosh *

I spun the staff and held it behind my back as I walked up a flight of stairs.

As I climbed up the stairs, I sense more gaurds.

" Flowing waters." I used word magic to create a barrage of torrents and waves with the help of my staff.

As I moved between the gaurds, a wave of water would be imbued to my staff as I hit them.

The hallway was filled with barrages of water waves and torrents as I made it at the end of the hallway before turning the corner.

Ignoring the water and bodies that lay on the ground behind me.

" Combine Magic: Lunar Tides."

The guards heard me speak, but before they could shout, they were overwhelmed with a water vortex that moved at speeds.

The attack was filled with Yin energy, which made the water black but glowed like black jewels under the moonlight.

I stopped the magic as I came in front of them, and they were unconscious.

Passing them, I walked my way towards the kings chambers.

Seeing two guards in front of the doors, they tried to lift their spears.

" Space lock." I spoke as I slowly walked up to them.

I could see the terror in their eyes as I could easily decide their fate.

Standing in front of the door without looking at them, I knocked them out with the staff.

* Thud Thud *

They both fell.

" Sound Suppression." Using word magic to suppress all sounds in the area.

Putting a foot on the door, I used enough strength to blow the door off the frame.

There was no sound, but there was a large vibration.

Walking in, I saw the King peacefully sleeping.

Ignoring him, I slowly walked up to his desk.

I checked the desk for anything but came up with nothing, so I checked the drawers.

As I checked the third one, I found a hidden space.

Seeing the lock, I inserted straps of mana into it.

* Click *

Unlocking it, I pulled the cover and looked inside to see a bunch of papers. I took them out and looked at them.

' Assassinations, bribes, kidnapping, slaves, human trafficking and child slaves.' I read that last part with anger.

[ Gamers mind Activated]

I calmly set the papers down and looked into the drawers again to see a rectangle box.

Taking it out and opening to reveal an amulet.

' Observe.'

( Description - Creates a mind shield against divine powers. Can only be powered with hope.)

' Definitely, a god or goddess is behind this organization.' I thought as I stood up and pocketed the amulet.

I looked at the king, who was peacefully sleeping.

' I'm tired of killing, but that doesn't mean I won't kill anyone that deserves death.' I said as I slowly walked to the king.

A black dragon tattoo appeared in my left hand as I grabbed the king by the throat.

I didn't hear him struggle as I lifted my fist and smashed it into his face.

I didn't use mana or anything, just enough strength to make him suffer.

Instead of giving him an instant death, I just absorbed mostly all of his life force, making him weaker.

He was thrown to the ground as I kicked him in the face. He lifted his hands.

I could tell already. This little bitch was trying to beg for his life.

I grabbed his hair and threw him across the room and used everything in here to hurt him.

By the time I was done. He was lying on the ground covered in blood.

He tried to crawl away only for me to grab his foot.

I dragged him out of the glass doors and to the balcony.

I could hear the winds blowing as I dragged the pathetic trash.

He didn't have any more strength to scream.

* Thud *

I turned towards him and grabbed a steel wire, and tied it around his ankles.

I lifted him up and threw him on the railing.

" You know, I've lost count on how many times I've done this. "

" Uu...ugh!" He tried to speak.

" Sigh, but I guess this would be the last time I do this." I said as I pushed him off.

* Swoosh *

I didn't bother to see what happened to him. I just turned around and walked away.

As I walked away, I pulled out a card.

This card had runes and fuinjutsu.

It would create a large explosion with a timer. It should be enough to have everyone evacuate the building in a few hours.

I dropped the card on the floor as I met up with Atalanta.

As I walked outside, I noticed the dead bodies on the floor. Every single one of them had an arrow in them.

One side frowned, but on the other, I didn't care.

' Sigh, I better not have a hero complex in the future.' I thought as I tried to ignore the dead bodies.

" So how did it go?" Atalanta said as she leaned against the wall.

" Can't you see?" I pointed my thumb at the hanging body.

Atalanta looked over my shoulder and just nodded.

" Let's go and get rid of the rest of the memebers." She said as she walked away.

" Hey." I spoke

" Yeah?" She turned around to look at me.

" Try to go easy on the killing." I spoke as I walked past her.

Atalanta frowned.

" What's with sudden change?" She asked.

" A new start, I guess, I'm just tired from all the blood." I didn't turn back to her as I kept walking.

Atalanta didn't say anything and just followed after me.

A few seconds later, she spoke up.

" And what of the organization, are you gonna let them walk away?" But just as she finished, she felt her body turn stiff, and her instincts went off.

I slowly turned towards her.

" If they want to act like animals, I'll put them down like animals." I looked down at her with calm eyes, and that seemed to terrify her even more.

I turned away and kept walking.

( Third Pov )

* Thud *

" Ha, Haa,Haa," Atalanta breathed heavily as she tried to calm her beating heart.

' Wha....what was that??' She thought as she remembered those calm eyes that seemed to glow.

' Especially those cat-like eyes.' She thought as she felt like she was looking at an apex predator.

She slowly got up as she controlled her shaking legs and followed after Yuto.
