Arriving at Margarita's office, which had suddenly expanded using Aon space magic to accommodate two additional desks, Richard genuinely smiled upon seeing Ember in the room. She was the only person he was absolutely certain would never betray his conviction and would wholeheartedly support it.
Noticing that she was currently writing a report on the provisions given to Ofir with her Mage Hand spell, Richard walked beside her and began to rub her hair. After playfully annoying her, to which she only responded with giggles, Richard just shook his head since in Ember books there is no feeling of annoyance.
Turning toward Moraine, who was lounging on the sofa and reading progress reports, Richard then took a seat on the single-person sofa, enjoying the comfortable relaxation after the recent tension. Remaining silent for a while to clear his mind of the tiredness that this world had given him, with only the sounds of pen and paper being heard in the office, Richard finally opened his eyes after about fifteen minutes.
"Moraine, Margarita, we need some kind of organization to handle the aftermath of our actions in saving people. I realize that our good intentions might be twisted by greedy people to their advantage."
"Hmm, that's a good idea. It would allow me to avoid focusing on these miscellaneous tasks, like collecting data, as I did in Tretogor," Moraine replied.
Frowning, Margarita noticed that something must have happened in Ofir to prompt Richard's suggestion. She sighed in lamentation, knowing that his good actions were likely being schemed against. Shaking her head and focusing on the current topic, Margarita expressed her opinion, "But this organization or force must not be shy about doing dirty work. If they are not allowed to counter blackmail with blackmail, it would be just like what Richard did and could easily be taken advantage of."
"Hmm, that's also a good idea. An act of blackmail like that would only stain Richard's conviction and perfect image as the Head Pantheon of our Herald," Moraine stated while sitting up from a lounging position. She continued, "But these forces must also be strong enough to handle the threats thrown at them, not only on an emotional level but also on a physical level."
Weighing the pros and cons, Richard replied, "I will personally teach the Breathing Technique to the most trustworthy one among this group."
Thinking for a bit and suddenly recalling her joint research with Yennefer on the super-soldier serum to enhance her boyfriend's strength, which was subsequently created for the people of Skellige to battle the Wraiths of Mörhogg, Margarita proposed, "How about we repurpose the Order of Witchers? After all, most of them fall into the gray area between glory and coin. From my experience, only the Cat Witchers are truly unstable; most others have good tolerance toward scrutiny. Those who still have relatively clean hands despite emotional stress would make good candidates for this force or organization."
Nodding his head, as he had also found this to be true after reading their blood in person, Richard suddenly raised his hand and said, "I concur."
"Me too," Moraine said, raising her hand as well.
Thinking for a bit about the different possibilities that might arise, Margarita suddenly said, "But this also poses a problem of authority among them. Considering what happened with the resurrected people popping up one after another, it will not be good for members among them to become their leaders. It only brings conflict and dissatisfaction that could lead to rebellion later."
Remembering the manipulative man's use of his title in Ofir, Richard slowly sat up straight and said, "How about we separate this group into two? One for authority and one for menial tasks. I drew this inspiration from my past. Their names were the Demon Slayer Corps and the Ubuyashiki Family. Even though the Corps handled everything, the family itself led and managed it."
"Well, that settles it then. The Witcher Orders will be renamed the Demon Slayer Corps, and the one who leads it will be named the Haris Family," Moraine said, clapping her hands once.
Seeing Richard tongue-tied over the immediate naming done by Moraine, even though he had only suggested the inspiration for the organization's structure, Margarita chuckled and agreed, "I think it's a good idea to name it after you, Richard, since this family will be closely tied to us. Clearly, you wouldn't want someone you don't know to hold your Seon OS later to collect the data, right?"
Nodding his head, especially since he wanted to personally oversee the details of how this group would handle the aftermath, Richard sighed in lamentation and decided to remain silent.
"As for the member of the Haris family, I think I have a good candidate, especially since she needs to learn how to handle her responsibilities. This Conjunction happened because of her, one way or another, so she at least needs to contribute something," Moraine said with an evil smile.
Realizing that it was also a good idea since Ciri would be the one in the field with Richard and witnessing the aftermath of his deeds, Margarita suggested another candidate, "If Ciri will be the one in the field with Richard, there needs to be someone to stay within the protective bubble to handle management. I happen to have someone else in mind who would be good for that."
Pausing and looking at Ember, who was diligently helping with the administration regarding this island, Margarita continued, "Especially someone who is very skilled at convincing others to repent for their misdeeds, which will be important for dealing with Witchers who have strayed from their path of glory and honor later."
"Her?" Moraine asked, bewildered.
"Me?" Ember asked, tilting her head.
Remembering Ember's every warm-hearted and saintly word—almost to the point of exasperation from the innocent sentences Ember uttered while they ate and slept together—Margarita nodded with visible shivers running through her body, saying, "Yes, my dear. You are very, very good at convincing others to become ascetic to their worldly desires."
Pausing as she recalled certain demons she experimented on daily, Margarita continued, "Except for those who are already demented, of course."
