Arc 1-chapter 7-fear

_a good bite on the neck of the molebear , enough to restrain his breath and by that his movement , taking enough time for oblivion to get there and use his claws to fully cut off his head. A clean kill ready to eat for the both of them . His wolf companion now had a much brighter fur and sharper teeth , now his fur evolved into being just white with white crystals _

_ now everything got really brighter , he could see through feeling and sense even the littlest bit of rock in the end of the cave , which then he learned led to another bigger one , in which he sensed the presence of other creatures. Time for hunt . He looked his companion in the eye and they understood each other . As soon as they ran in the bigger cave they understood that they found the nest of the mantisses , lucky… there were 12 exemplars in total , including a bigger one which we know to be the queen…however he does not and he just thought it to be a bit bigger than the others(good luck friend) _

_the fight was on . They killed the first two that came at them by bouncing on a nearby wall and cutting their head off with their claws .then four charged oblivion at one but he evaded them with ease and killed each one of them by simply cutting them off . Then he realized the rest (apart from the queen ) had attacked his friend. He then charged at their backs and in an attempt to kill them all with one move he made a misstep and fell, resulting him losing an eye to the last surviving mantis , this time he screamed as hard as he wanted because that definitely hurt… a lot . Then the wolf finished the job and they started eating all the creatures to regenerate un order to get ready to battle the final one , which was standing still _

_ he bounced at her and has she tore his jaw off he kept relentlessly hitting he with his blades , continuously changing shape in order to not make his attack pattern known and by so counterable. As he kept cutting here and there while dodging he regenerated the lost jaw _

_all of a sudden he felt a presence coming really fast towards him and when he turned his left forearm was missing and in front of him there was a humanoid mantis which looked way too strong and menacing . Oblivion felt a new emotion for the first time:fear, of death in this case . He started running as fast as he could and bouncing here and there to remain slightly out of the range of that "thing" . He kept running and running and running and running until he found a spot where he and his companion could slide through and that wasn't big enough for the predator chasing them . It led to a small cave with a little natural source of water in it big enough to move a bit and safe. However he didn't feel safe , he knew , he knew that the second he stepped out pf that cave he was going to run into certain death . He started overventilating and anxiety got the best of him but then _

_he looked at his friend, he calmed down as he came closer to cuddle and lick his wound , seeing the open wound the then harmed himself and poured the blood onto oblivion's blade so he could get back his arm and they fell asleep hugged with one another_
