Chapter 55 - Treatment

Gabriella was stunned at where she was standing while looking at Terry, who had just got back from school, and she could not respond to the person on the other line who was calling her attention.

Hyacinth shifted her gaze to Terry, who was walking towards them, and a wide smile was immediately painted on her lips when she saw her. She excitedly walked towards Terry to greet her, but the latter just passed by her while looking on the ground with her hair covering her face, obviously hiding something. Hyacinth followed her with a look with a creased forehead, not expecting that she would ignore her like that.

But even though Terry tried to hide her face, Gabriella, who had just got back to her senses, noticed something after passing by her, so she immediately followed her and grabbed her arm to stop her. Terry couldn't even met her gaze.

Hyacinth approached them as well.

"What happened to your face?" Gabriella asked with a serious tone. Even though she was only able to take a glance of Terry's face, she did notice the cut on her lip that seemed to have been done by someone.

Hyacinth's forehead furrowed with her question, and because of that, she quickly held Terry's chin to make her face them properly.

Terry grunted in pain, and they both gasped when they saw that her lower lip had a cut and there was a bruise on her jaw. Their eyes were round with disbelief.

"What f*cking happened to your face?" Hyacinth gently held Terry's cheeks to properly examine the wound and bruise on her face.

Terry tried to hide it and remove Hyacinth's hand from her cheeks, but she wouldn't let her.

"Who did this to you?" Gabriella asked her in a cold tone. Her fists were already clenched.

Terry looked at the two, who were both looking at her with a interrogating expression. She waved her hand to say it was nothing.

Hyacinth's expression couldn't even be painted as she lied. "Do you really expect that we'll believe that?! This was undoubtedly done by some m*therf*cking b*stard! The heck! You're a girl! How could someone do this to your pretty face?" She was already hysterical. "Who's the f*cking b*tch who messed up your face?! I'll definitely mess up theirs twice-no! ten times what they did to you! "

Terry closed her eyes tightly because this was the last scenario she wanted to encounter. That they would see the mess that happened on her face. Unfortunately, the two were both outside the resthouse when she got back home.

Gabriella could see that Terry was already in distress, and she felt that she had to get her away from Hyacinth first. "Let's treat those first inside." She grabbed her by the arm and pulled her into the house, leaving Hyacinth outside.

Gabriella gently dabbed the cotton with alcohol on Terry's lips, and she frowned at the stinging pain.

They are currently in the living room, sitting on the sofa while facing each other.

"Who did this to you?" Gab asked Terry, and because of her annoyance at what happened to her, she unknowingly pressed the cotton on Terry's lips, which made the latter move away from it while frowning. Fortunately, Terry prevented herself from grunting or complaining.

Hyacinth, who got really worried seeing Terry in pain, grabbed Gabriella's hand to stop her. "Gab, I think it's best if I take over treating Terry's wound. My touch is lighter, so she'll feel less pain. "

Gabriella gently removed Hyacinth's grab from her hand. "It's okay. I'll do it. I'm just really annoyed that was why I unintentionally pressed it earlier, but my touch is also light. "

Hyacinth's expression turned sour; she obviously didn't like Gabriella's refusal. "But I want to," she insisted, with a cold tone.

Since Terry could sense that the two would bicker again, she took the cotton from Gabriella's hand and took the first aid kit, then went inside her room.

Gabriella stood up, surprised, and the two of them were left alone in the living room, staring at the closed door.

Suddenly, Hyacinth's phone in her pocket rang. She took it out and when she saw that her manager was calling, she answered it.

"Hyacinth please! Meet me at the B.T.C. shop asap! If you really do feel sorry for me because I'm about to lose my job, meet me... Please Haya. " Cristine begged on the line.

She exhaled deeply. "I'm sorry but I can't now, Cristine-"

"There's no other time for me, Haya! We need to meet someone to discuss your contract. Please! Help me explain to them! They'll chew me alive if I face them without you!"

She glanced at Gabriella, who remained staring at Terry's door. Her eyes rolled in annoyance because Gab would be left alone with Terry. "Fine. Fine." There, she immediately turned off the call.

She was about to take the things she needed before leaving when she remembered something important, so she went to Gabriella, who was still in a daze. "Ahhmm... Gab. I didn't mean to, but I overheard your conversation earlier on your phone."

There, she caught her attention.

"Excuse me for prying, but who's Celine Yoso? Is she related to Terry? "

Gabriella's eyes widened and she could not immediately answer her question.

Even though Hyacinth already had an idea of who that person was, she still wanted to confirm it. "That Celine... Is she... Terry's mom?" She was wincing a little because she was also estimating her question. She just based it on what she heard and that was her conclusion.

Gabriella took a deep breath and nodded. "You're right. She's Terry's mother... but Hyacinth, please, don't tell her yet about what you have heard. I'll be the one to tell her about it when I think she is ready to know."

Even though a large part of her knew that would be the answer to her question, she still couldn't believe it. Terry told her that her mother had left her in an orphanage when she was still a child, but even so, she knew that Terry would still be hurt and devastated when she found out that her mother had already passed away.

"O-okay." She answered dumbfoundedly and walked into her room.

She was changing her clothes for her meeting with her manager, but while changing, she was still in a daze, disturbed by what she found out about Terry's mother.
