Newlyweds Sticking Like Glue?

The sound of a car engine entering the main courtyard was faint. Dave stepped in, and opened the door.

Jane, Andrea, Jessy, and Dalen, stepped out of the car. Dave was welcoming.

Jessy stared at the castle-like building, which was William's residence, with a look of amazement. This was her first time here.

Andrea patted Dave on the shoulder lightly, then stepped into the house. This morning, the William family and the Wilson family, had a small party.

Jessy stared in amazement at every corner of the room they passed. Her head poked here and there, exclaiming stifled.

The long table by the pool, right in the backyard, was half occupied. Dave smiled at Lisa who was busy in and out of the kitchen, carrying plates of food.

There were actually a dozen housekeepers, Claire had also forbidden Lisa to help, but Lisa persisted. She said she liked the job, rather than just sitting around quietly. She wasn't used to being served by dozens of servants in every aspect.

Helena, one of the senior kitchen employees, is happy to help and accepts Lisa's help. She likes Lisa, who always respects someone older than her, whoever it is.

"Hello, Mrs. William." Jessy greeted after Lisa placed the plate of food in the middle of the long table.

Lisa greeted briefly, without looking. Jessy rolled her eyes, then came closer to hug her sister.

Lisa pushed Jessy's body away, feeling awkward.

"Hey, I'm your sister." Jessy looked at Lisa annoyed. Dalen came closer, and hugged Jessy's waist from behind.

Lisa rolled her eyes, and looked at Jessy annoyed, imitating Jessy before. They chuckled.

Lisa stepped back into the kitchen, Dave following behind her.

Dave approached Lisa who was setting other food on the plate.

Helena, laughed a little when she saw Dave sneaking up behind Lisa. Dave grabbed Lisa's waist from behind, hugging her. Lisa was silent, then started to rebel a little. Dave didn't let go, instead tightened his grip on her. Lisa looked at him annoyed.

"Shh, there's someone else here," Dave whispered softly.

Lisa glanced at Helena briefly, then chuckled. Dave is now deliberately blowing her earlobe.

Lisa was about to protest, asking Dave to stop. However, Dave turned her body first, bringing them face to face. Lisa reflexively raised her hands that were wearing plastic gloves.

Dave Whispering again, "Stop working, the others are waiting. Okay?" He deliberately made his tone a little spoiled, making Lisa give him a sharp look.

"Yes madam, you'd better follow Mr. Dave's advice. I'll take care of the rest." Helena said politely, smiling sincerely.

"Okay?" Dave asked again, still in his previous tone. He brought his face closer to Lisa's, making Lisa move awkwardly. Until Lisa finally nodded forcefully.

Dave laughed with satisfaction. He removed the plastic gloves from Lisa's fingers, then pulled them together with the others.

After some chat, the little party started. Not a real party, just a dinner to celebrate Lisa and Dave's wedding. The parents, in this case, Jane and Andrea who became Lisa's guardians, seemed to be chatting casually between meals with Claire and Daniel.

Don't forget Jessy and Dalen, who are also newlyweds, only a few months earlier, who continue to stick together, showing off their affection.

Lisa felt awkward, who sat across from them. In his eyes, Jessy and Dalen looked more like teenagers who were in the cradle of their first love. Unlucky.

"Lili, eat this, you like it." Lisa gave a strange look, Dave was now smiling sweetly after placing the vegetable pieces on his plate.

Lisa thought fast, what is he playing? Newlyweds sticking like glue again?

"Thanks, darling." Lisa forced a smile as sweet as possible.

Dave isn't done yet. He returned to take some other food from each plate, filling Lisa's plate.

Lisa looked at Dave in disbelief. The man beside her seemed to intend to dismantle her eating nature which was not small.

"Eat a lot, honey." Dave tucked her hair behind her ear, his smile not fading even a smidgen.

Lisa chuckled, "Too much." But then nodded slightly.

"Open your mouth, aaa .....," this time Dave fed Lisa directly, a piece of vegetable.

Lisa glared at Dave. She pursed her lips, then smiled again, taking a bite. Dave wiped the corners of Lisa's lips gently, and they both chuckled, pretending to be precise.

Lisa could hear Jessy's muffled exclamation in front of her.

When Lisa stayed at the Wilson residence some time ago, Jessy kept asking how sweet and romantic Dave was. She had long idolized her boss. When the news of her marriage to Dave first, Jessy said she had a dream for several days, not expecting her idol to become her future brother-in-law.

Lisa got tired of hearing all kinds of questions about Dave first. Right now, either she was trying to hold back her screams of joy, or Dalen was trying to hold it in.

Claire cleared her throat softly, distracting the rest of the table.

"Dave, Lisa," she said. She looked at Lisa and Dave alternately, looking like she was holding back a smile, before continuing, "You're married now, Dave isn't young either. So, when are you guys planning to have a baby?" This time Claire chuckled ending her sentence.

Lisa coughed softly hearing that. Dave immediately gave her a drinking glass, and patted her back lightly.

All eyes were now on her, waiting for an answer. Lisa nudged Dave gently.

"Of course, we're also planning on having a baby sooner, right dear?" Dave smiled sweetly, looking at Lisa.

Lisa glared, but then laughed too. Baby? Lisa patted Dave's back quite hard, deliberately venting her annoyance.

"Gosh, that's great. It turns out you guys think so too." Claire laughed happily, the others were the same. They all seemed to be expecting it very much, except for Lisa.

Jane glared at Lisa, "Oh dear, you're too skinny. I'll have to eat more in the future. I'll make a food recipe, it's great for smoothing the pregnancy process." Claire beside her nodded enthusiastically, agreeing with Jane's words.

"Gosh you guys, really can't help it." Daniel retorted. He rubbed Claire's hand lightly before continuing his sentence, "Hurry up and make the recipe, before we get older." He ended his sentence with a laugh. The rest of the table laughed too, but only Lisa forced a smile.

....

Four o'clock in the afternoon. The Wilsons prepare to go home. The Williams escorted to the front yard, where the car waited.

As they prepare to let the Wilson family go home, a woman walks up to them in annoyance.

Lisa arranged for the woman. Her face is beautiful, with shoulder-length brown hair that is neatly trimmed. Judging by the dress she was wearing, it must have been a branded item.

The security guard guarding the gate trotted behind her, looking down apologetically.

"So that's you?" The woman looked at Lisa in annoyance, and clenched her jaw in anger.

Lisa looked at her in surprise, trying to remember something. Until a few seconds later, she did not remember the fact of ever knowing or doing wrong to the unknown woman in front of her.

"You bitch, how dare you show your face in front of me again!" Claire stepped forward, her voice shaking, furious.

Daniel tried to hold her beside him. Lisa looked at Claire, this was the first time that Claire, who usually always smiled kindly, was now staring at someone savagely in front of her.

But the woman ignored Claire, she looked at Dave with a sad expression. "Dave, tell me. You married that woman out of necessity, didn't you? You didn't really love her, did you?"

Lisa analyzed quickly.

Claire screams in anger, then the unknown woman who doesn't accept Dave's marriage is, most likely, an ex-lover. Claire may have disapproved of her relationship with Dave back then, forcing them to separate. And the dutiful Dave, obeyed Claire's wishes, even though he still loved her. Ooh, what a tragic story.

Lisa chuckled knowing her ability to compose stories.

"What are you laughing at?" The woman glared at Lisa, annoyed to see her laugh.

Lisa thought again. Alright, let's make the next story even more tragic.

"Yeah, it's me, who else? Definitely not you." Lisa said firmly, replying to the unknown woman.

Lisa wrapped her arms around Dave's neck, her feet tiptoed a little, then gave Dave a soft peck on the lips.

Lisa smiled sweetly at Dave who was now unmoved. Her head rested crazily on Dave's shoulder, while her arms hugged him tighter.

"We love each other, nothing can go wrong," Lisa said again firmly, staring at the woman sharply.

The woman squeezed her hand, stomping her foot in annoyance.

Lisa laughed inwardly. She wasn't the kind of meek woman who was easily bullied. Also not the type of woman who would shrink at the sight of a beautiful, luxuriously dressed woman saying anything to her.

Lisa has that trait, no matter who, no matter what. She also still had a thing or two to hide from her, even if she intended to start a fight.
