Chapter 19 - Collaboration

William has been waiting for his sons in Junior's apartment, he thought that his sons was just strolling all over Cambridge, the time was 7PM already and he's a bit worried so he decided to call Junior. When he's about to dial his phone, they arrived.

"Dad, how long have you been here?" Junior asked and Jerry immediately went to his father then hug him.

"I've been waiting for an hour, where have you been together?"

"You won't believed what just happened."

"We went to Pemberley!" Jerry shouted.

"What? What for?"

"We met Lady Sophia at the mall."

Junior told his father about what Lady Sophia said to him and William was amazed about it.

"So, you're gonna come out?" William asked Junior.

"Not in a million years."

"Okay, that's your choice."

"Don't tell me you're gonna tell Grandpa and Grandma about you."

"Of course not, why would I?"

"Yeah, Grandpa's gonna kill you."

"You bet. Have you guys had a dinner already?" William asked.

"Not yet, don't worry I'll cook a porridge, that's the dish I can easily cook." Junior while going straight to the kitchen.

"No..I can't afford having just a porridge in my stomach before I go to sleep, I'll order a food." William said while dialing his phone.

"Okay, sounds better. By the way, what happened to Irina and Jim. Did you call them?" Junior asked.

"I called many times in my office but they're not answering, when I got home earlier they're still not there." William said in a worry.

"You should figure it out Dad, before it's too late. By the way, how's Prime Wickham, he's been contacting you?"

"Yeah, he said that Irina advices him to retire earlier and will start to introduce me to the Queen then in the public next week."

"You sure you wanna do this? I mean that's a hard job, and now we are going live at Pemberley next month... I feel bad for Uncle Hugh to be honest, I think he was blamed by his father for it, actually Lady Sophia already chose Grandpa Eddie before the exposing of his business." Junior said while nodding his head.

"Someone still following you?" William asked while lying in the sofa and Jerry immediately lie beside him.

"Yeah, I can see him everyday. For whom you think they worked for? You still think that it's Princess Irina?"

"I don't know, my guts that is was actually her is making sense, I'm afraid that she'll found out about Lucius."

"Then leave him Dad." Junior immediately responded.

"I can't, he's being watched too."

"What? Then it's her then, she already knew about it all, we know what she's capable of."

"I'm too busy to see what she's been doing."

"Do you even suspect her if she's been seeing another man?"

"I rarely see her these days, I can't tell."

"Well that's maybe what she's been up to."

William was confused and feeling down at the same time, he don't know what he will do next for Irina.

"Dad, can you be honest? Do you really love your wife?" William was hesitating to answer. "Yeah, you never did." Junior answered for him.

"You're wrong, I tried, even tho it was late too for me to find out that she has Mental Disorder. At first, she was so kind, said that she's been fighting it, but now.." William starts to sobs. "I don't what I'm gonna do with her."

"It's up to you dad."

Emily has been waiting for Willie in their terrace for hours, she already heard the news about exposing of Hugh's Clubbing Business and them being the next heir of Pemberley. Finally, Willie arrives with a blank face.

"Hugh's came here looking for you." Emily said while drinking her coffee.

"What did he do to you? Did he hurt you?"

"No, why would he?"

"Willie, do you have any idea what you have just done to your cousin?"

"Uh...err..I did..it..for us.." Willie said while stumbling, obviously he's nervous and scared.

Willie has gone off in the past days, he's way more uncomfortable and unfocused in things he should do. Emily was actually worried about him even tho she felt betrayed by him.

"Willie, have you been hiding something to me?" Emily said while holding and rubbing her husband's face. But Willie just kissed her in tears.

"Whatever it is, I did it for us." he replied then went inside. "Oh by the way, I'll be going Cambridge tonight, I'll just get something." he added.

Emily was just left hanging and she touched her chest in pain. She doesn't know anymore how far their marriage goes.

Sam and Jim just came back from their father-son bonding and Irina was waiting for them in the couch at Sam's house.

"Hey honey.." Sam greeted Irina by kissing her lips in front of Jim.

"Where you guys from? I thought you'll only teach Jim driving your Ferrari Car." Irina said while cleansing her nails.

"Sam just taught me how to drive a Helicopter." Irina's eyes widen of what she heard.

"For real? Sam, what if he made a mistake and both of you will crash?"

"That's never gonna happen." Sam sat on Irina's side and put his mouth near on Irina's ear. "Like you said, me and my son and me have a lot in common." he whispers.

"It turned out well mom, I already mastered it, tomorrow, he'll teach me how to assemble pistols and fire it."

"You sure about that my darling?" Irina said while holding Jim's hand.

"I like it here mom. I'll sleep here." Jim said in excitement.

"But your Dad will be looking for you, he's been calling us."

"Sam is my Dad now, and not William. Tell him the truth mom, so that we could live together."

"I will, but not this time, we still have things to settle with the Darcys"

"Katie!" Sam called one his maid.

His maids have unique uniforms, instead of casual maid uniforms, he provided them black suits and a pocket with pistol on it.

"Sir."

"Show to my son his room you designed."

"Yes sir. Follow me sir Jim."

After Jim left, Sam immediately seduced Irina by kissing it's neck.

"Wait, let's discuss something about our plan."

"What now? I thought it's all set."

"I made a few changes. You remember Hugh Darcy?"

"Yeah, what now? I think we're done with him, we already exposed his tiny business."

"Now that's where you're wrong. His business isn't tiny or small."

"What do you mean?"

"He's actually the biggest Drug Producer not just in England but in entire Britain."

"Ow..I see where this goes. You want him to help us eliminate Eddie's Family?"

"No, he can't do that, he maybe the biggest criminal, but he won't kill his own relative, he even helped a stranger you know who's that stranger is? It's Junior's little girlfriend who's the Granddaughter of my former Nanny who ran away from us."

Princess Irina managed to locate Eliza's family through Sam's men who followed Eliza when she was in the middle of grieving in her mother's death at Manchester.

"What now?" Sam asked.

"His wife Susan has a big deal on William's lover, it was her ex-husband."

"Oh..What a small world isn't it? What's your deal with her?"

"She was furious when Lady Sophia didn't picked their family, told her that Willie is the one who exposed them. She really hates homosexuals, she agreed to help us if I'll help her get revenge on Lucius and William."

"Why do we need their help? We can easily do it."

"Someone has to be blamed about everything, and it's them, she's so stupid, she immediately believed me. We can easily get away with the mess we'll make because of them. Surely, they'll be the one to blame, they're the only person who has proper motive of killing their relatives."

"Oh honey you're so smart..I can't believe you can think that way better than me." Sam said while slowly putting his hand on Irina's leg up to her underwear.

"Honey, not now, I must go already, William will suspect me for this." She said while closing her eyes because deep inside she's liking it.

"Then let him, he's not honest with you anyway." Sam while starting to insert his right hand inside's Irina's underwear.

"Sam stop.." Irina keep insisting it but she actually moans for it.

"You like it..?" Sam inserted his finger on Irina's private part.

"Yeah...I like it Sam." she said while moaning.

They didn't cared that they're still at the living room and the maids are just there walking like they had seen nothing.

Eliza on the other hand was at Hugh's

club doing her job as a cashier there, as usual she encounters lot of drunkard male customers, nonsense complains then she'll be harassed. She was actually waiting for Hugh to arrive because she want to tell that she'll resign because William told her that he'll help her to apply in a Call Center Jobs in Cambridge the morning when William fetched her in her apartment from Grandpa Eddie's birthday. Finally, a decent permanent job for her, she didn't told Junior about it yet because she wants to surprise him about it.

But apparently, Hugh didn't arrived on the club until her shift was over, she hesitated to call to his home, because Susan might answer it, she know how envious that woman is, but she called anyway. Unfortunately, no one answered the telephone, so she only left a message for him.

"Um..Mr. Darcy, this is Eliza, I just want to say thank you for everything you have done to me every since I came here at Cambridge, at first I was just nothing, but then an angel brought you to me. Thank you for giving me hope to live longer and fight no matter what, I learned a lot from you. And I want to thank you again and again, I don't know how can I repay you someday, I really mean it. But sadly, I have to move on another journey now Mr. Darcy, sir William Darcy helped me to apply on a Call Center Jobs, and I think it's a good opportunity for me. Thanks for being like my father Mr. Darcy." Eliza sobs after she delivered the message not knowing that Susan was actually the one who's listening to it in the telephone.

William, Junior and Jerry are having their own dinner at Junior's apartment with the food that William ordered and delivered.

"Why this food taste like tupper wares?" Junior complained.

"Just shut up and eat it, we can't return it anymore." William replied while chewing the food.

"I think it's still delicious William." Jerry said with a cute smile.

"See? Even Jerry likes it." William said while shaking his son's hair..

"Did Irina called yet?"

"Not a single call or at least a text message from her."

"Dad.." Junior said in a low voice.

"Hmm..?"

"You do ever suspect her having a secret affair with other men?"

"I don't know, as I said, I rarely saw her these days. Why you keep asking that?"

"I have a plan." Junior stands up and looked outside the window if there is someone outside and he saw nothing.

"What? You're not trying dig into her aren't you? Junior, I know her better than you do so let me do it myself."

"But Dad, I feel like there is something off with her, the man who's been following us, it's hers, she is the only one who has the reason to spy on us."

"Hugh."

"Hugh? You mean Uncle Hugh? Dad, he maybe look-" They were disturbed by the knock of the door downstairs. "I'll get it." Junior stand up.

"No, let me." William stand up and went downstairs to see who's knocking. William was surprised that it was his younger brother.

"Willie? What are you doing here?" William asked while opening the door wide, and Willie just went straight up to living room.

"Uncle Willie!.." Jerry immediately hugged Willie upon his arrival.

Willie sat on the couch and just stared at the television even if it's powered off, he seems uncomfortable but trying to say something to them. Actually his plan is to meet Junior but he didn't expect that his brother is also there.

"Willie are you okay? Is there something wrong?" William came near to him and handling him a glass of water.

William and Junior obviously sensed that Willie is trying to tell something but instead, he just keep staring at the TV and avoiding their eyes.

Lucius on the other hand was on his way home riding a taxi. Actually, he's gross income of being a former Professor and a current Historian is enough to afford himself to loan a car, but he doesn't know how to drive, William once taught him when they were still at college but he crashed it on the tree and promised not to drive a car again. Even so, he was always there when William joins a car racing contest in the old days and supports him.

When he's about to go inside his house, he didn't realized that Susan's car was on the other corner and she was inside.

"Lucius?" Susan called him inside her car and he's frightened by her voice.

"Susan...what, what are you doing here? And and it's late already." He stumbled.

"Can I take you for a ride?"

"I beg your pardon?"

"I said, get in the car." Susan while opening the car door.

Lucius hesitated, but he still follows her anyway. He feels awkward while Susan is driving and didn't spoke a single word but he got curious where she's taking him.

"Where are you taking me actually?"

"Just taking you for a ride I said."

"I guess not, if you're trying to say something to me, say it now, I'm tired from work."

"About Lucas-"

"If you're trying to take him away from me that's never gonna happen." Lucius directly said.

"How did you raise him?"

"You don't need to know, you're not his mother anymore."

"Okay, change of topic, I don't want him anyway, I know he's gay like you."

"What's your deal now huh? Taking me for a ride just to say that to me and to your son who just wished to see his mother's face before turning into an adult?"

"I just want to clarify something. Did you really loved me those days being married with me?"

"I did, but you're the one pushing it away. I know that you're already planning to divorce me before you discovered my relationship with William."

"You started it, you're dating a guy behind my back." said Susan while driving.

Actually the day when Susan got married to Lucius, she was not satisfied about the life that Lucius gave to her because Lucius was just a college professor, she then become anxious and rebellious, she met Hugh at the hospital when she was just discharged from the hospital after giving birth to Lucas, that time, Hugh's wife died in giving birth to his daughter. She followed Hugh to the hospital's altar, he was crying and praying there, Susan comforted her and lied to him that his husband Lucius has been cheating on him, they shared common thoughts and agreed to date in secret until she'll find a clear reason of divorcing Lucius.

"I wanted to admit it the day when I first met you, but I saw how you hate guys like me, I wanted to break up with you, but my guts is telling me to pursue it because I thought you're the right woman for me." Lucius started to weep. "Now, I'll ask you, did you loved me too?".

Susan didn't answered but dropped a tear on her eyes.

"Get out." She said while stopping the car into the unknown place.

She continued to hide her tears and kissed Lucius's forehead, then Lucius went out on the car with no idea where he is, Susan left him standing there alone.

Back to Junior's apartment, Willie finally moved.

"Junior, you have speaker?" Willie asked Junior.

"Uh yes, wait, I'll get it."

Junior handed him the speaker and inserted a card to it.

"Willie what is it?" William asked in confusion and worry.
