Merger and Acquisition

"Kate honey, hurry up. You know I hate being late for a meeting."

"Coming grandma, it is just my shoes I am looking for now."

"How many times have I told you to keep your shoes on the shoe rack."

"Found it. Grandma, my shoes are always on the shoe rack. You know I am OCD, that I always put my shoes back in there shoe box don't matter how many times I have used it already. The problem was matching a pair with my outfit," Katrina said as she exited the her room and walked down the stairs. Standing in front of her grandmother she asked, "How do I look?"

"Child, you look very good, but couldn't you wear a skirt suit, or probably another suit that outlines your shape?"

Katrina looked down at her loose black pants suit with the loose long sleeve jacket that hid her perfect bottle shape figure. "Grandmaaa, it's a meeting, not some beauty contest that I am competing it. You should know that I hate tight clothes, after all these years I have been living with you."

"I know that, it just feels like you will never find a man the way you dress."

"Why are you worried, when I am not even worried. When God is ready he would provide a man for me that loves me just as I am," Katrina said as led her grandmother to the black BMW that was waiting for them at the front.

"I feel I will get a boy to marry you," her grandmother said just as they passed the gate.

"It is fine with me, as long as he loves me how I am and you are happy," Katrina answered as she looked up only to see Peter, her personal bodyguard and best friend looking at her in the rear view mirror. Katrina looked away instantly, it had already been three weeks since he confessed his feelings for her, but she didn't want to hurt his feelings by just outright saying she didn't see him in that way, but more like a friend and a brother, but she knew the longer she prolonged that conversation, the more he would misunderstand her.

"Katrina, to be honest, this meeting is a merger and acquisition. Actually, their son has a solid foundation in business, and you being the only heir to our family business has to produce an heir soon. The couple has agreed to this meeting to introduce both of you and to agree upon terms and agreement for both businesses. The only thing is, they have two sons, one is currently abroad, but that is okay, because he is younger than you anyways."

"It is fine with me, however, he should not be a socialite, a non believer, someone that loves to party and drink and above all, someone that is a player. If we do agree upon an engagement and any time before the day we get married I come across more than one instanst where I see him in the newspaper with multiple women, or drinking at a bar, I will marry the younger brother on my wedding day, age is not a problem. Before you object, the reason I will marry the younger brother is because, one the agreement is already there, two the wedding date would already be set, three the terms had already been breeched so they would have to comply with my terms and agreement and four, you seem to choose this family from all other businesses, it most mean that they are more stable than the others, and I know this because you have been searching for a husband for me a good few months now. Am I right?"

"Okay, valid point, but I am sure you wouldn't have to marry the younger boy. They are not non believers for sure, but why do you hate attist?"

"Grandma, I don't hate them or have nothing against them, but you know I love attending church and singing, I just want to have arguments with my husband. I just believe that a lot of arguments in a household is not good for a child. I have friends who are non believers but it is just they way all see life is in a different way and I believe a household should be equal."

"That sounds reasonable. Anyway, we are here," her grandmother said just as the car stopped at the curb of a twenty story glass building with a snow flake symbol and the name frost written in bold displayed on the building.

'Hmm, I have heard of this company, I have also heard that one of the son is a player and he loves to party. Let me hope it is the second son that has that habit, because I am sure grandma would be very disappointed with this young man later on.'
