The Ball (3)

Veronica and Lucas went towards their friends. They greeted each other. But Veronica didn't see Emma there.

So Veronica asked one of the friends, "Hey, have you seen Emma anywhere?" "Yes, she was with me a while ago. She has gone to the washroom" the other friend replied.

"Oh, okay" Veronica replied to that friend. Then Veronica said to Lucas, "Hey, I'll be right back" "Okay, but don't leave me alone for too long" Lucas said to Veronica while giving her a wink.

Veronica was astonished at this behavior of Lucas. She then went towards the washroom to find Emma.

Someone was watching the two of them from afar. And it was Bryan! Bryan didn't like Lucas at all. Also, he was feeling enraged, whenever he saw Veronica with Lucas. He doesn't know why he was feeling like this.

But this was a different kind of feelings which he never felt. Not even with Nancy!
