CHAPTER THIRTY SIX

the feeling of warmth beneath her ,kim na-ra felt at peace, she knew she still had more worries ahead of her,but for now she felt like giving herself a little bit of peace,her eyes still closed,the angry sound of the alarm beginning to ring, Justin turned beneath kim na-ra,the ring of Justin phone was what brought them back to reality, both eyes opening, turning away from his embrace shyly just like a school girl, Justin turned over to pick up his phone both of them looking at the alarm clock,

"oh my goodness,I am late,I am late"

kim na-ra screams as she rushed off to the bathroom , Justin still on the phone his assistant scolding him on the meeting which he needed to attend in the next minutes.

"which tie suits this outfit best",

Justin asks while putting on the cufflinks,both of them clearly in a hurry,

" this one",

na-ra points at the deep blue one ,she, Making her hair neatly , sitting in front of the dressing mirror

"help me put it on"

justin tries acting cute, trying so hard to hold in here laughter kim na-ra walks up to him to him put on his tie

"being cute makes you look kind of funny next te leave it to me, now bend over,big guy "

kim na-ra says seemingly that her small figure could hardly help him with the tie,

"you know what?, come over ",

nara says standing on the bed,

"are you seriously going to knot the tie from up there"

"time is of essence,are you coming over or not"

"okay,of course I am, little pumpkin "

justin

justin says, still from where she stood her head just few inches above justin's as she finished with the tie.

kim na-ra then helps him adjust his collar , tapping justin's shoulder

"now it's perfect",

na-ra says bending over to look at Justin

"it is",

Justin replies his head raised up making their faces few inches away from each other, but it was obvious to both of them he meant something else,the tension clearly in the space between them , kim na-ra feeling giddy like a school girl,not knowing if she should let him kiss her or not,but if she did,what does it means, Justin bringing his head closer to her, their lips getting closer, kim na-ra lips looking ready for the taking,one could see that nara was feeling anxious, Justin watches as kim na-ra used her tongue to wet her lips,slowly kim na-ra eyes began to close ,and that was when the justin's phone began to ring, interrupting the magical moment,

picking up the phone , Justin , speaking to mal-chin , Justin stretches his right hand towards Kim na-ra, na-ra quickly picks up her hand bag walking over to where Justin stood his hand stretched out to her, gently placing her palm on to his.

"how did this come about,when did this happen? "

Justin looking baffled, walking back and forth, looking at the person on the sick bed who looks more of a stranger to him than the kim Soo-ra he knew, and one of the things on his mind was that noona had no idea her sister is in an abusive marriage or rather was , because he for one is not letting her go back to that kind of abusive marriage again.

"but where did you find her? "

mal chin who sat on the chair beside her replies

"you know I have been gathering information on that son of a bitch"

mal-chin who wasn't known for using abusive words for the first time says

"so I got closer to a lady who works in that house,she told me everything,that he usually locks kim Soo-ra from going out, sometimes her beats and put her head in running water whenever she doesn't do as he says and kim Soo-ra has been doing much of that lately, I was going to meet up with her for information when I saw Kim Soo-ra body laying down lifeless on the road,she had been hit by a car"

"mal-chin did you see the plate number?"

"don't you trust me anymore,I tracked it down just to find out it belongs to the beak family,to me it looks like beak sung ju is trying to kill her,that's why I brought her home with me my dad already sent doctors to check up on her,they left not long ago,beak sung ju will definitely be looking for her by now",

"but why?"

"justin I have no idea,but one thing I am sure of is that,beak sung ju will regret ever coming across with me"

the sound of pain was heard,it was from Kim Soo-ra, she had already regained her consciousness,but she looked apart at once looking around her surrounding,on seeing nothing familiar she became at each especially when she saw Justin and the young man who once saved her, Justin could see the fear in mal-chin eyes when he rushed to give her a cup of water,to others he might look calm and in control but Justin knew his friend too well,he might not say much but for the first time he brought a woman home.

"justin,how did I get here, how did you find me?"

"it's not me but mal-chin he saw you being hit by a car",

"a car?,oh yes a car ,I remember"

unable to take the tension mal-chin interrupted

"is that all you are going to say,you remember?"

"what am I supposed to say?"

kim Soo-ra looking like she wanted this confrontation to be over with

" for goodness sake,you were ran over by a car,and I think it's quite clear to both of us that someone wanted you dead and that someone is your husband,why don't you start from there,start from why your husband of so long will want to hurt you,kill you"

seeing the look of pain in kim Soo-ra eyes Justin says

"mal-chin enough she needs to rest",

turning toward kim Soo-ra

"why don't you get a bit of rest ,we can discuss about the rest tomorrow,and by the way mal-chin,she will be staying with you for the time being,that is until we know what to do".
