CHAPTER FORTY TWO

after the meal, which justin could see how happy kim nara was ,

justin called on his driver to bring another car in order to take them back home,though with his insistence they finally accepted his offer to take them home ,justin ,kim nara , Mr and mrs

kim,sat in the car which he drove will his driver drove kim nara sister, brother, pregnant girlfriend and insu home,on arriving home ,they all thanked justin for the ride,

mr kim and his son then walked up to Justin

"please cherish my daughter like you promised

"I leave my daughter and grandson in your care,son"

justin was truly taken aback they indeed had accepted him

"if you hurt my sister in anyway,I will hurt you in any humanly way possible and I mean it's,it's not a joke,it's a threat "

"I give you both my word" ,

with that justin walked over to where Mrs Kim stood pretending not to be hiss dropping in on their conversation while kim nara talked with her sister and sister in-law

"mrs kim,i know you are still worried and for that I will make sure to bring noona over during the weekends'

"no need to do that I know young people need to date"

after which Mrs Kim sighted then continued

"Justin I know you are not at fault with all that is going on between the two families,I also know that I can't dispute the fact that you are a member of the lee family and my stubborn daughter likes you,I am not saying I accept this relationship of yours but I don't think I will be able to contain it If anything or anyone is to harm my daughter in anyway,do you understand what I am trying to tell you?"

"yes Mrs kim,and I can assure that no one will be allowed to harm her no matter whom the person is"

"I hope you keep to your word not for me but for my daughter sake I hope you truly do keep your words",

"I will Mrs Kim"

justin replied at that moment they were interrupted by the bright light of a car,soon the engine of the car was switched off,all of them turned to see whom the unexpected visitor was walking out of the car was mal chin, everyone looked puzzled,but not Justin and Kim nara ,they had a feeling today might be the day when kim soo ra will finally confront home,not proving them wrong kim soo ra stepped out of the car ,her composed self a little bit shaken ,

kim soo ra watched as they all looked at her like they had seen an alien,her mom and dad obviously shocked

"kim soo ra is that truly you"

"mom??"

"soo ra its really you!!!"

"mom !!!"

soo ra voice broke

mother and daughter running In to each other's hand technically mrs kim ran towards her daughter who stood rooted in that spot the tears came pouring down both mother and daughter face

mr kim so shocked unable to alter a word his eldest daughter is finally home.

what are you doing here,mom what is she doing here ,I thought she decided to run away with a rich man leaving her family behind"

their youngest daughter vented in anger

that is no way to talk to your elder sister,kim soo ra is back home

mrs kim says still trying to hold back her tears of joy, everyone standing in the living room,all except justin and mal chin who decided to give the family some space to finally reunite

"mom the only sister I have is named kim nara

not her, what is she doing here anyway ?"

look here you are no longer a child ,so stop behaving like one kim nara says trying to talk some sense into her younger sister

"noona,where was she ?,tell me where was she when you had to stop schooling to fend for the family ?,where was she when we barely had roofs over our head ?,where was she when dad came home drunk and mom stole your money to buy fake designer bag just to attend the meetings in my school so no one would bully me,or brother's model was rejected again and again,and I had to cry all night because I failed the auditions,where was she???"

trying to be brave she used the back of her palm to wipe the tears falling down her face furiously

"I am sorry ,I am so sorry"

kim so ra whispered to no one in particular, trying so hard not to cry , reaching out a hand to touch her baby sister shoulder but her hand was pulled away instead holding her hand in an aggressive way,this made kim soo ra pull her hand away from the tight hold

what is wrong with you,come with me her brother says as he drags his junior sister to talk with her behind closed doors, but she had non of that, pulling her hand away from his and walked into her room with her elder brother following suit

mr kim and kim na ra had to excuse themselves leaving kim soora and mrs kim to themselves, giving them some privacy.

"dad are you okay , with all that is going on lately",

Kim nara asks her father who still looked a little bit worried

"my daughter knows me best",

Mr kim smiles looking at nothingness

Kim nara calls out to her father after some minutes of silence

mr kim then decided to speak out

"sometimes I think of everything going on lately ,you,your sister and brother, soo ra ,your mother,even poor in su,and here I am unable to do anything about it,it's my fault everything is my fault,,I haven't been the best father and husband even as a business man I failed"

"dad don't say so"

kim nara says hugging her dad tightly not letting so as she laid her head on his shoulder,but mr kim knew better everything was indeed his fault he thought

with Justin and mal chin watching from afar
