A groaning sound. Acacia rubs her eyes.

minutes later-

Jog-jog-.....

Acacia, "I have decided to take care of my body from now onwards and be productive.

Stops on her track.

Acacia looks at the bridge beside her and wanders off in her thoughts.

Lucas. I've decided to let you go now, but I will forever cherish the times we spent together.

Exhaling sound, she mumbles," For the last time, I will write the book for the sake of our memories.

With tears on her face, she whispers the last word," Goodbye, my love."

Beep* doors unlock

Acacia speaks," Good morning, Rudy".

Rudy slowly walks and holds my hand, "Acacia, I'm sorry for last night.

I reply to her," You did nothing wrong, Rudy. I saw Lucas when I was waiting for you at the airport. Though we did not speak to each other."

Rudy in concern, "Are you alright?

To tell you the truth, I am not. However, I have decided to let go of him from now on. I know it will be hard, but I'm going to do it. So don't worry about me, okay? I said.

Rudy smiled," Alright, just so you know that Rosie and I will always be there for you.

Yes, I know." I smile at her

Suddenly Rosie comes and hugs us both from behind.

I said while trying to hold back my tears," Don't you think both of u will be late for work if we keep this up?

Rudy gasp," Shit! I almost forgot about the work.

They both hurry to the room to change and left in a hurry.

After freshening up and being done with breakfast.

Acacia sat down on a chair and opens her laptop to continue with the novel.

Chapter-2

Without knowing, I, Ella, who used to hate Lou to the core, started to look out for him slowly.

Before the class bells rang*

Rosie, Rudy and I enter the class and search for our seats assigned by our class teacher.

We were told that our names will be pasted on the table.

We started checking from the first row, second and third, but I still couldn't find my name while both of them found their seats. They were seated not too far from each other.

Thump-thump- Ella's heart beating.

There is just a fourth row left to check, and I saw Lou and his friends seated there when I entered the classroom.

My internal screaming at me," Ella, what will you do now? What if he-

(Shakes my head)I immediately clear out my thoughts and strike ahead to the fourth row. I keep on looking for my name one table at a time and from the side, I could see myself getting closer to where Lucas is seated.

I kept on praying, "Oh God, please don't let him seat near me.

And, finally, I found my seat, which was three seats ahead of where he was sitting.

I couldn't stop thanking God for his grace.

The class bell rings when I was coming back from Rudy and Rosie's seats. And got teased by them, for sitting near Lou.

As I was walking back to my seat, I saw Lou getting up and walking towards me.
