Chapter 38 - Two new master

Yuuki was certainly surprised that being the original was able to copy the attribute of the form that he took. He knew this when he acquired the ability in his status and decided that it would be a nice change to become a slave since this is just him taking form and supporting others.

"His form changed even with people other than the chief and Himarin!"(Shushu)

"This might be useful in practice."(Himari)

The two excitedly said upon seeing his new form while Yuuki notices Kyouka was struggling to keep herself having him draw power from her that normally would be less but lending take a toll in her strength especially at the fact that Yuuki's original strength is vastly superior to her. Yuuki does lessen it by letting the energy flow and easing the stress in Kyouka's body.

'Lending…Sure takes a significant amount of my strength.'

Kyouka thought to herself, sweating a bit while holding her chest trying to compose herself and maintain the transformation while acting that ahe was fine.

"How is Nei's form, Yuuki?"(Kyouka)

"I'll have to move a bit to check. I'll make some tests, okay, Nei-chan?"(Yuuki)

"You don't have to hold back! I'll be holding on tight!"(Nei)

"Here we go."(Yuuki)

He tested his strength noticing that original or not does lessen his strength when in [ Slave form ] and had decrease more in his current form of [ Slave Form: Sparkling Stars ]

He thought to himself and stopped his action.

He proceeded to gather his energy into his eyes and other senses where he was able to see through Himari's clothes where Yuuki paused to appreciate the lacy lingerie that she was wearing and and said.

"....guess that's spoiling the fun for me."(Yuuki)

Himari was confused when he was staring at her then soon realize that he's able to see through her clothes and quickly

"No way, you can see through things!?"

She shouted annoyed that her plan to seduce him later was foiled and had bought new pairs of undergarment for him to enjoy later. Yuuki saw the other naked and wanted to appreciate the sight only for Nei to stop him.

"You just have to turn around, Yuuki-san!"(Nei)

"Sure thing, Nei-chan."(Yuuki)

He would act more perverted if Nei was not around and didn't want to corrupt her. Kyouka was blushing while Shushu was more delighted at the thought.

"The power to see through objects…"(Kyouka)

"Oh Nooo~❤️"(Shushu)

"So his sight was strengthened."(Kyouka)

"If I focus on listening, I can also hear heartbeats."

Yuuki said but had another thought to himself.

'And likely can go further, probably able to see the flow of the universe and perhaps even hear the Voice of All things.'

He pondered this and decided to test later in hopes of adding it to his ever growing arsenal of skills

It was then that Kyouka couldn't hold on anymore and fell to the ground as everyone panicked and walked up to her.

"Chief!!"(Himari)

"Are you okay!?"(Shushu)

Himari then helped her stand up while Kyouka struggled and said.

*This is very draining. I also need to get used to this…"(Kyouka)

Yuuki then returned to his human form and noticed at his status that it didn't leave his skill deciding that the next world for them to explore would be a place where they can grow like Danmachi or Death Mage who doesn't fourth time.

"Yuuki."(Kyouka)

Yuuki turned to look at her and said,

"I'm glad. The reason we can test my ability is because your compatibility is good."(Kyouka)

Nei then walked up to Yuuki and said.

"Good work."

Out of nowhere, Nei kissed Yuuki on his cheek then blankly looked at Yuuki unsure of what just had happened.

Yuuki touches his cheek while Nei realizes what she just did and becomes embarrassed soon after.

Being the first time she had used [Lending] since Himari used her own ability to copy her [ Slave ] ability therefore didn't have to rely on Kyouka. Shushu grew excited at this since it's more thrilling and can hide that she is being intimate with Yuuki by doing the reward.

Yuuki sao Shu Shu's expression and thought to himself.

"I see... So that's why Nei's body moved."(Nei)

"Forgive me. Right from the start, I misunderstood how lending works. I thought I would be the one giving the compensation."(Kyouka)

Nei went up to Yuuki and bowed down.

She tease Yuuki while he simply shrugged and said

"As if, I am more inclined to act as her big brother."

He said in Matter of fact tone still had the knack for being the brotherly type. Yuuki would never think any lewd thoughts of her unless she grows up even though that won't ever happen.

"Nei's really glad that Yuuki-san would want to get along with me."

Nei became happy hearing what he wanted, surprising Himari while Yuuki gave a stupid brotherly smile.

"Nei-chan…"(Yuuki)

"Nei in fact... Really respect you, Yuuki-san, who's so good at cooking!"(Nei)

"Hahaha enough Yuuki, you're making your big brother blush." (Yuuki)

He laughed it off while lifting Nei who began to giggle from the excitement.

"... Back to the tests. I don't think you'll have to give any risky rewards as you won't be going into battles, but talk to me if anything happens" (Kyouka)

"Yes!"(Nei)

"Hmm. Cough! cough!"(Shushu)

Kyouka turned to Shushu trying to get her attention and said.

"Aren't you ready to go again chief? Let's try out Yuuki's new form with me, too."(Shushu)

"There's a chance you'll go into battle. So you might have to give rewards much more intense than Nei's."(Kyouka)

"Inte-"(Shushu)

She blushed imagining the scenario in her head even though they had done it countless times but the thought of rewarding him after working hard feels a lot better.

"Are you listening?"(Kyouka)

Shushu gasped, snapping from her thoughts as Kyouka called out to her.

"We're ready to go."(Kyouka)

"It's fine! Eliminating shuuki is The jog of the anti-demon corps! A reward is nothing!"(Shushu)

She walked up to Yuuki as Kyouka nodded, hearing her words.

"Good answer, try getting on him."(Kyouka)

"Shushu Suruga jumps on stage!"(Shushu)

She eagerly hopped into his back while others watched.

"So cool!"(Nei)

"She looks pumped up"(Himari)

S"Alright, Yuu-chan! Be dyed in my colors!"(Shushu)

It was then a blinding light engulfed the two as everyone covered their eyes and soon enough they saw Yuuki's form that was a bulkier statue with armor on his gauntlets, shoulders, chest straps, and shorts being almost as big or bigger than his first transformation

"It's power is incredible, ... But my speed has really gone down

Himari: It's just what you'd expect of its looks.

"It's powerful on its own but there's probably no need to lend him for simple traits like that."

"Wait."(Yuuki

He said, getting everyone's attention.

"Himari, can you shoot me, preferably your Laser cannon?"(Yuki)

"Wait, why?"(Himari)

"Because my intuition tells me that this form allows me to absorb damage and increase my strength because when I strike the boulder earlier I sense my power increase but only for a short moment."(Yuuki)

"Are you sure about this, Yuuki?"(Kyouka)

"Yeah, wouldn't it be too dangerous?"(Shushu)

"Don't worry about me, just take a leap of faith."

They took a moment and decided to do as told as Himari went a distance away from them and said.

"Hope you won't regret this." (Himari)

"Just trust me."(Yuuki)

She nodded and transformed her hand into long canon as she began to charged it while Yuuki took deep breath as Nei and Kyouka anxiously watched as Himari fired a powerful beam toward them where Yuuki was hit and shocked when they saw him still standing and unharmed having grown in size seeming gotten stronger. He then cocked his hands and strike the sky and dispersing the cloud shocking all of them

"Amazing…"(Kyouka)

After a while, they finished their lending session and Kyouka said.

"... And so, you three will work together from now."(Kyouka)

"Let's work together."(Yuuki)

"Yes!" (Nei)

"You got it, Yuu-chan!"(Shushu)

Kyouka looked at Shushu and said,

"Well, test more of your traits in battle since it can prove useful against those humanoid Shuuki."(Kyouka)

"Will you also lend him to people from other units?"(Shushu)

" The only ones I can freely command are the ones from the seventh unit. What good is there in wanting to use it when the lender isn't around?"(Kyouka)

She suddenly smirked since this gave her and Himari the advantage with Yuuk

'Good good, we have the advantage of being able to ride Yuu-chan!'(Shushu)

"I'm next."(Kyouka)

Yuuki transforms once again but this time with Kyouka.

"I'm going to have a bowl of Negi Ramen after training."(Himari)

"Sure thing."

Yuuki said and after their training, Nei was in her school uniform that made Yuuki want to take pictures of how cute she looks.

"I'm off."(Nei)

"Take care, alright?."(Kyouka)

"I see. So you have school today."(Yuuki)

He can easily reach her everything but didn't want to rob her of the experience from being with people her age.

"I'm looking forward to seeing my friends."(Nei)

Yuuki turned to Kyouka and said

"Can I accompany Nei-chan all the way to school? I want to talk to her."(Yuuki)

"I'll allow it. Get to know about your superior."

She handed a pass and soon Yuuki and Nei were heading their way to a portal. They were walking downstairs to get to the portal.

"We can just make time for it later. You're busy right?"(Nei)

*You don't have to take me into consideration that much Nei-chan."(Yuuki)

Both of them entered the portal that was located inside the Seventh units dorm connects to the real world's Shikoku

From there, Nei goes to the closest elementary school.

"Going to school while working with the anti-demon corps must be tough."(Yuuki)

" It's not so tough, as I don't have to go everyday."(Nei)

The tenth unit located in the center of Mato observes the entire land, and they warn every unit of any abnormalities that are detected within their respective regions. The second unit that's located at the northeastern gate and the seventh unit that's located at the southwestern gate are exceptions. Due to their frequent shuuki appearances, they have specialized scouts

"The tenth unit is watching over the seventh unit's area right now."(Nei)

"So you can take days off by alternating shifts. I see"(Yuuki)

"And it's good for me to be part of the anti-demon corps. Nei might be able to find her parents."

Yuuki looks at her sympathetic knowing her life and like how many times he repeats his no hero knowing his limits. He is not heartless but he is far from heroic.

"Nei's Father and Mother just disappeared one day... It was deemed to be a Mato disaster."(Nei)

Yuuki was silent listening to her story and heard her continue.

" After that, Nei ate a peach and got the power of clairvoyance. Nei's feeling might have become Nei's ability

"i see, So the name of your ability—"

Nei smiled and said the name of her ability.

"Sure to find "promise" it's true to its name!"

Yuuki looked at Nei as she resumed her story.

" Yuuki-san, have you heard stories like these? About how people would see it get calls from family members who should've passed away from the mato disaster"(Nei)

"I've heard them. There were lots of those even in the victims gathering."(Yuuki)

"That's why Nei still can't let go of her wish."(Nei)

Yuuki smiled and said

"Yeah I'm sure they're alive! Even now I still believe my sister is still alive."

"Yes!"(Nei)

Yuuki patted her head deciding to sacrifice even more of her stats to make her wish come true making his base power lower than it should but didn't care.

"So, Yuuki-san. The thing you wanted to talk to me about…"

" Ah! It's about how you respect my cooking skills."

"Yes, I do! Life has been easier ever since you joined us! The people who took me in were always busy, so they never had much time for chores. That's why I wanted to at least help them out with that whenever I'm home."

'I wonder who this person is since it hasn't been revealed."

He thought to himself recalling the manga and turned to Nei and said.

"Then I'll continue to teach you like before."

Nei's eyes sparkled in excitement and hugged him.

"Thank you so much, Yuuki."(Nei)

"You can call me, Yuu-Nii, if you want."(Yuuki)

"...Yuu-Nii."(Nei)

She slightly blush liked the thought of having Yuuki as her older brother. Yuuki chuckled and after a while took her to school.
