Now able to move, Delara immediately backs away from Gorak's imposing figure, terrified out of her mind and wondering what next to expect.
The immortal conqueror had brought her to what appeared to be a massive room for royalty?
By all indications, this would be where he slept, no?
There was a luxurious bed... and it was just the two of them!
She started to panic.
Was this the purpose for which she had been personally captured by him?
To be ravaged??
Delara curses her luck for being so irresistibly beautiful.
____
Displeased to see her backing away, Gorak immediately walks towards her, closing the distance between them and forcing her to keep backing away until she is backed up against the wall.
Why was he coming closer? What did he want?
With nowhere left to go, she is trapped between Gorak's tall, imposing figure, and the wall.
She shrinks away and shuts her eyes out of instinct, trembling with fear as he reaches out to her with his hand...
Was this the end?
....
Gorak gently takes one of Delara's hands in his, and then the other. Her little hands in his large ones, he carefully binds her in golden hand cuffs. His actions are gentle, and not at all rough.
*Click!*
The golden handcuffs lock.
Pulling Delara closer by the chains of the hand cuffs, Gorak leans over her, supporting his weight with one hand against the wall.
Taking her chin in his thumb and pointer, he lifts her face up to stare deeply into her green eyes.
Stunned, Delara is locked into his sparkling silver eyes. They looked like a combination of actual silver in a sea of diamonds.
Observing him this closely, his features are absolutely enchanting. His dark hair frames his beautiful face.
His thin lips are a pale pink and look slightly glossy in the golden lighting, and she could swear, even now, without the terrifying red lightning surrounding him, he was glowing. Exuding an ethereal ambience.
Delara is transfixed.
Her whole life, she had never seen such beauty...
*Ba-thump! Ba-thump!!*
Her heart thumps wildly.
'What is happening?'
Delara is confused as to why she is suddenly drawn to her evil captor. She had never really been this much attracted to anyone before. How was she so suddenly taken by this immortal?
Moreso, a villain... the destroyer of her people.
What was she thinking?
Ashamed and embarrassed with herself, she slaps away the encroaching horde of lustful thoughts from her mind, quickly averting her eyes.
...
Gorak lets go of her chin, thinking that she doesn't want to so much as look at him.
But why would she?
He captured her, and his purpose is to destroy her people. She must absolutely hate his guts.
Would he ever be able to win her heart?
Probably not. But that didn't matter. She was his fated lover. She belonged to him. She was his, and he would never let her go.
_______
"Your name is Delara?", Gorak's voice travels to her ears.
Surprised at his question, she turns to stare back at him. He wanted to know her name??
Her stare takes Gorak by surprise. Her striking beauty draws him in once again.
'She looks so beautiful', he thinks to himself.
He just can't get over her green eyes. Or her flaming red hair.
He raises his hand to take off the binder keeping her hair in a high ponytail.
Her smooth, long hair comes cascading down, making her look even more attractive.
Gorak can hardly resist.
He wished to have her now. But he couldn't. Not while she hated him. He had to wait. Wait for her to realise that he is the one for her.
As it seemed, she was yet to realise that he was her fated lover.
He had to win her heart first. Until then, he would not touch her. Otherwise, she would hate him even more.
Taking his hand up to push back a few loose strands of hair from her face and gently caress her cheek, he says to her;
"I will call you Dela."
....
'Dela?? Who gave him the right to rename me like a common pet?'
Delara questions within herself.
Angered, she gently pushes off Gorak's hand away from her face, looking at him pointedly with disdainful eyes.
Eyes full of hate.
"You will call me Delara. Because that is my name!"

Right from the moment Gorak saw Delara, she piqued his interest. Already, she exuded a large amount of negative energy... her ambition and determination to conquer everything and everyone was a fire that could not be quenched.
She was just like him.
She craved to be the most powerful; he craved to be the most powerful amongst his kind too.
It was that craving that brought him all this way to conquer the mortal realms... Equinox in the 7th galaxy, Arphelia in the 3rd Universe, and Earth, the most populous planet of mortals.
Gorak was the Keeper of negative emotions after all. Where there were any, he could sense it, and he could harness the power in them.
Pain, suffering, guilt, shame, pride, greed, reckless ambition, hate... he had control of all negative emotions and he was empowered by them.
He could sense them coming strongly out of Delara on the battlefield. He could sense them in her right now.
Her strong ambitions for conquest. The feelings of pain and anger, of hate and pride... He could sense it all.
Dela had tasted power and she liked it. She wanted more. She would go to dangerous lengths to stay in control.
He saw a lot of himself in her, so he decided in that moment, when he read her deepest, darkest emotions on the battlefield, that he would keep her and tutor her to be more like him. To be villainous.
Yes. He would teach her ruthlessness.
Since they were fated, and they wanted the same things, he would teach her how to get what she wanted.
How to be most powerful, so that they could rule together for all of eternity!
If there was anyone who could understand his feelings... his obsession with being the most powerful god, it would be her.
But first, she had to be tamed. Speaking to a god like that... she was certainly courting death.

***** KNOW YOUR GODS! *****
(Continued from last time)
Lilyak: (spots Delara on the screen) Hey look! It's the little girlfriend! *excited*
Awww... They look so cute together! *loves*
Chalding: That's her? Hmph! *jealous*
Empyrean: She's bold. Smart too. Interesting...
(To Gorak) To think you found your fated on Earth... How lucky you are to have invaded her planet!
Gorak: What? *confused*
Chalding: (To Empyrean) What are you saying now? He's locked up in the Hold precisely because he invaded Earth.
Empyrean: Yes, but think about it. If you had chosen not to, I imagine you would be single for all of eternity.
Like most of us. *smiles bitterly*
Chalding, Gorak and the guards stare at Empyrean, astounded by his reasoning. He was supposed to be the most morally sound out of all of them. The symbol of propriety.
Chalding: (To Empyrean) And here you're supposed to be the most proper of us all. The incorruptible.
Gorak: (To Chalding) It's because he's been hanging out with you. You're corrupting him!
Chalding: (To Gorak) You're blaming me? You're here too. Who's worse than you? *grrr...*
Gorak: *grrr...*
(Chalding and Gorak growl at each other like two dogs about to fight.)
Lilyak: Break it up guys. He's right, you know. Gorak is lucky! His fated is such a beauty. You should see her now. She's even more beautiful as an immortal.
(To Gorak) Bro, you better hurry and escape from here before she finds herself some other man!
Empyrean: True.
Chalding: (to Lilyak) "Really now?!"
"I'm right here."
(to Empyrean) "And you too? You are virtually a member of the Council!"
Empyrean: "..."
