how long can forever be?

I ask myself this question in any relationship. How long can forever be? Because why would you promise the world you can't give? Why promise to give me your heart when you're just going to break mine? Shattering it to pieces? Do you ever wonder why valentines day is so important to those who are romantic heart pleasers? Because valentines day makes you feel one of two things.

You are a happy single with no cares in the world or you're a couple going on a romantic date with chocolates and roses. And others are more of an anti-valentine. Some may have gotten their hearts broken or had a bad idea with valentine's day. But im in between. Some days I think romantic things are the sweetest a can be and other times I can see through the pain and toxicity. And the pure narscasim in some men and women hurt to see it genuinely.

I ask myself the same question, how long can forever be? When someone says they can promise you the world can they really? Or is it just a fantasy of pure bliss they want to make to let reality disappear?

It's the question we ask what can I do or all the what-if questions. For now, I got my heart guarded, but I know the wounds she created are deeper than a knife. She killed my sister, my best friend.
