Chapter Fourteen: INVITATION CARD.

"Where is Yan Xinyi?" Hu Le Qi shouted at the maidens who were arranged in a line in front of him having bowed their heads as he paced around."She went out this morning but she didn't say exactly where she went." One of them gained enough couraged and replied.

"I didn't ask when she went, I asked where she went." He replied at her answer sarcastically.

At the moment the doorbell rang and one of the maidens went to see who it was.

The butler Zhang Shanyuan came in carrying shopping bags.

"Excuse me president Hu Mrs. Hu asked me to bring these here." He said as he placed the bags on the floor. "Where is she at the moment?"

"She is in a coffee shop next to FANG LI mall eating." He replied.

Hu Le Qi immediately ran to the garage and coughed up the engine driving to the mall.

Yan Xinyi had just come from drinking alcohol with her friends and disappeared in the morning without giving him a clear explanation.

Of course he waites for her to come clean what she was doing but she did not and that meant it must have been something illegal according to Hu Le Qi's reasoning and he wanted an explaination or else he would have thought she was doing something to harm the Hu family.

After having coffee. Yan Xinyi ordered lemon meringue pie,a glass full of lemonade,beef steak and a plate of fruit salad.

Her order was served within a minute as she was still eavesdropping on the conversation.

Soon the food was arranged in a casual table setting with the glasses of lemonade and a jug and a glass of water at the top most corner, adinner fork and salad fork om the right hand side and a napkin of the salad plate and a dinner knife and a dessert spoon on the left hand side of the plate.

It was all in front of Yan Xinyi as she smiled gleefully and picked up the knife and pressed the fork on the steak.

Some sauce was released.

She cut the piece of meat and chewed it while smiling.

After the beef steak,next was a glass of cold lemonade and then enjoying the lemon meringue pie.

After she had finished eating she wiped her mouth with the napkin and then drank a glass of water leaving the glass in front of her empty.

She picked up her white mini chained bag where she placed her phone but before she had the chance to leave Hu Le Qi approached her table and sat down on the chair.

He looked very angry from the way his eyes pierced through hers.

The light from the sunshine shone through the windows and illuminated the two.

"What brought you here?" She asked him.

He first poured himself a glass of water from the jug on the table and drank it.

"You went out today without giving me an explanation. What were you doing yesterday at night while drinking with your friends?" He inquired.

"It was just a reunion. Why are you overreacting to useless issues?"

It seemes he was wrong about her this time though he did not trust her answer.

"And you,you received an invitation to Zhao Ting Xin Yan's welcome party yet my family was never invited let alone me. What is this supposed to mean?" She asked him.

He seemed busy drinking water instead. She pulled the glass from his mouth and then stared directly into his eyes.

"Are you going to answer me or not?" She asked him once more.

"I do not know anything about that. Go and ask Zhao Ting Xin Yan instead." He replied seeming not interested in the talk.

"Wasn't she your childhood sweetheart maybe this is a reunion for lovers and that's why the third wheel was not invited?"

"I'm not interested in having such a talk with you."

"Why don't we talk until you are interested then?" She said. "I am sure if it was Zhao Ting Xin Yan speaking you'd be very interested." She continued.

Out of the blues a waitress walked up to them. "Please stop fighting."' She urged.

"Shut up!" They both shouted back at her it seemed her pleas fell on deaf ears.

Yan Xinyi and Hu Le Qi were in the car as he drove avoiding eye contact.

She leanes her head on the seat and looked outside the window admiring everything.

Soon they arrived home and Yan Xinyi distributed the gifts to the family and then went with her own things to her bedroom.

Zhao Guan Yi Nuo was sitted in the international airport waiting with her heart filled with adrenaline, skies looking clear, and the sun was shining brightly. She was waiting for Zhao Ting Xin Yan to arrive from Canada.

The moment for her sister to arrive had arrived.

Soon, a young lady with her suitcase in hand approached her.

She had a comely figure which was stem-thin, her curvilinear waist didn't surprise her as much as the saffron tint to her complexion.

Her crescent shaped eyebrows inclined slightly as she saw her beloved sister staring at her.

Her languid eyelashes of velvet-black blinked once slowly. She had scrolled ears and her elegant nose.

Her luminous, heavenly-white teeth flashed as she pawed at her with her film star nails. Her hair was a glorious tumble of star beam-gold and her virility-brown eyes set my heart a-thump.

Her oxbow lips positively drooled with goodness. Her sugar candy-sweet lips, her elegant personality, all mesmerized her, her sister was sure a figure to drool over. No wonder men had chased her.

Placing her suitcase in the trunk was melancholic but necessary. Complete discomfort covered Zhao Ting Xin Yan

whole body during the two-hour ride because the thought of Hu Le Qi being married to another woman made her heart throb.

It was 4 o'clock when they arrived at ZAHE Headquarters where her welcome party was and the first thing Zhao Ting Xin Yan saw were tons of smiles, that radiated a welcoming feeling with the intention to make her feel at home.

It was awkward to see people that she had never seen me be so happy by her mere presence.

Tall trees with vivid green coloured leaves and the brown dirt covered the entire scenery.

She got in as her sequence mermaid gown swept the ground. Her hair was shining under the lights of the room.

The room was decorated with ribbons, crepe papers and balloons. There was plenty of food and sitting places for the guests.

A screen in the room displayed the words ' Welcome party for Zhang Ting Xin Yan.'
