Cheri kept looking at Winter and kept chasing her, but Winter's falling was too fast.
Winter was almost at the ground when the smell grew stronger, and she fell. To her surprise the ground was not hard, it was soft, it was fluffy and warm. She opened her eyes and saw that a pure black wolf was right under her breaking her fall. She knew that wolf. She very clearly knew that wolf.
"Ronald!" she mumbled.
"Winter! Are you okay?" asked Ronald.
"What are you doing here?" asked Winter and stood up. "Are you hurt?"
"Nothing will hurt me if it's about you except when you rejected me," said Ronald, Aaron's wolf.
"I never rejected you, Edwina rejected Aaron. You are still my mate, but I am bound with my human. I will have to do whatever she says," Winter wanted to hug, rub her nose with Ronald but Edwina's face kept staring in her face.
