Kaori

As the trip was underway, Kaori figured it would be a good move to get everyone in the caravan on the same page. If things took a turn for the worst, the last thing she wanted was people running off the road, into the woods where they were just guaranteed to die anyway. So, she went from one wagon to another, telling everyone what she hoped they'd do if, or when, things went downhill.

It was hard to get used to the way they looked at her. The way their eyes popped every time she stepped into their wagon. It was so strange to her. She'd been able to mostly disregard these looks when she was in Sapphire and Onyx thanks to the fact that she had her friends there to distract her. Now, however, all she had was her armor and the expectations that she'd keep this caravan safe.

Once she was done with the civilians, she went to speak to the soldiers who were walking along their side.
