Going to the funeral

After waking up in the morning my mind was clear about the world thing. Luckily God answered my question in my sleep and told me there wouldn't be anything supernatural.

After waking up. I did my morning exercise. After going to the kitchen, I saw Roxanne leaving for a meeting for the upcoming Fashion show in Milan. I knew that I was probably here on the perfect timeline for part 1 of Grown-ups.

After eating breakfast. I played Monopoly with Becky. After we finished it was already meantime.

In the afternoon I watched Greg, and Keithie play a video game. It was a kind of shooter game, where you shoot passengers of a ship.

Suddenly Lenny came in shouting at someone on the phone while holding a board game in his hands.

"Hey, what's up boys?", Lenny asked.

"Everything fine on my side", I answered him.

"Hey Greggie, Keithie. Learn to answer like Nathaniel", Lenny told them.

I was a bit embarrassed as I felt like I was the neighbor's child that was perfect in everything.

"What is going on Dad, we are playing a video game", Keithie answered.

"You guys ever heard of a game called Chutes and Ladders?", Lenny asked us.

"I haven't", I replied as the only one.

"Pretty awesome game. I used to play it when I was a kid. Okay, what it is, they give you a spinner. And you spin. If you land on a ladder, you get to climb up the ladder. If you land on a chute, you slide down the chute and start over again.", he explained.

"Yeah, and what happens? The winner gets a training bra?", Greggie said annoyed.

"Yeah, Dad, that game sounds like it sucks", Keithie added.

"I would like to try the game, but first I need to go to the toilet", I said trying to ease the situation.

"See kids, look at Nathaniel. He isn't playing this game. What is this game even about? You're on a cruise ship and you chop people's heads off with a chainsaw?", Lenny said trying to teach his kids.

"Oh, and you can drown them.", added Keithie thinking his dad is interested in the game.

"Oh, you can drown them. Now I get it.", Lenny said with sarcasm.

"I will go to the toilet and after that let's play the board game", I said and got up.

Going to the toilet, I looked out of the window and saw a car driving into the back garden.

"What the heck is going on there?", I exclaimed.

"What's going on, Nathaniel?", Lenny asked while standing up.

Seeing what was going out there he quickly ran to the car.

While going to the car, Becky was exiting it and ran to us.

"I didn't mean to. It was an accident.", said Becky in a guilty tone.

"I don't care. Are you all right? What the heck were you doing?", asked Lenny while hugging her in his arms.

"I was trying to use the Navy", Becky said trying to explain herself.

"The Navy? What's the Navy?", confused Lenny asked.

"The Navy in the car to ask it a question.", she answered.

"You mean the navigation system, idiot.", Keithie said, mocking Becky.

"Keithie, relax", said Lenny trying to calm his kids.

"Some man called. He said your friend, Coach Buzzer, went to heaven. I was trying to find heaven for you on the Navy station so you could go visit him." Becky finished explaining herself to Lenny.

Hearing that Lenny went into contemplation and seemed sad.

Not recognizing this Becky asked, "Whos your friend, Dad?"

Lenny said sadly, "Coach Buzzer was someone very special in Daddy's life. It's terrible."

After that, he sent us away.

In the evening, Lenny asked me if I would be okay to go with them to a funeral and after that to a vacation home.

I gladly agreed knowing what's coming up.

After that, Lenny explained everything to the kids and Roxanne.

The day after tomorrow we were flying to Boston and driving with a black car to the funeral. To my luck, my mom had packed a suit for the planned Milan trip.

After arriving in front of the church. I quickly saw the other characters of grown-ups.

Lenny greeted them very intimately, sadly I couldn't hear most of it as I was standing beside the nanny.

After coming up, I heard Higgins ask, "Hey, so these are your kids? And whos that girl? That's not a nanny, is it?"

"These three younger ones are mine, but the older one is from a good friend of mine. And the nanny is a friend of ours from China.", Lenny answered

"I have been on that website", Higgins answered looking mesmerized.

"No, no, no", Lenny tried clearing it up."Like an exchange student that- My wife brought her into the house.

Higgins didn't let go and made fun of Lenny with McKenzie.

After that Lamonsoff arrived in a Caddy and they talked about his career and his dog.

When Lamonsoff drove off for a parking lot, Rob came and they reminiscenced about their coach.

After that, we went into the church while Rob and Gloria still kissed. With Rob's toupee almost flying away due to the wind.

The church went exactly the way it was going in the movie. It was very funny and I laughed quite a bit.

After that, we drove to a nearby village of Boston surrounded by a lake called Chebacco Lake.
