"S***!" Zoom realised that his hood was gone as the gust of wind blew it off. The players who were initially distancing themselves from Zoom looked at him in surprise as those close to him could see a red name tag appear above his head.

Winter's channeling was stopped as she could no longer cast any more skills which caused her usually calm expression to turn dark. She knew was was coming next as she shivered at the thought.

"HAHAHA!" Kane leaped towards Winter to hold her down. A large amount of pressure fell on Winter as she couldn't take another step, soon chains held her hands and feet to the ground.

Skills that had crowd control utilities were sent towards Winter stopping her from doing anything, they waited for this moment since if they dared to throw a crowd control skill against a peak condition Winter then they would only be blocked with ease.

Winter stayed strong and didn't let a single tear drop from her beautiful face as she didn't want to look Kane in the eye. It felt like all hope was lost. It felt like the world was crumbling in front of her as she gritted her teeth.

"Davie kill Kane! Seraphine take the other girl while the others form a circle and protect us!" Zoom rushed forward as he summoned all six of his summons. After becoming Zoom's summons they had remained mostly the same and kept their stats and armour.

Davie was as powerful as ever as he charged towards Kane who turned his head to see the annoyance that disturbed him, his mad expression became annoyed before turning into surprise and despair.

Davie was back, nothing was stopping Davie from killing Kane. With a smirk Davie shouted in a fierce and powerful tone, "Carve!"

A shockwave of energy killed Kane in a single strike, Kane's powerful armour could only do as much against a powerhouse like Davie. To be fair Kane wasn't in his peak condition and Reena had casted a skill on Kane that weakened him to a certain extent.

While Zoom's six summons surrounded him, Zoom rushed towards the dazed Winter. She who had lost all hoped as she stared into the ground looked at Zoom as if he was a beacon of light, a prince charming who was coming to save her.

She looked at Zoom with bright eyes as she muttered in a low voice, "Zoom."

Zoom approached the chained Winter, he broke the chains that held her in place and carried her in a princess carry. Winter was still incapable of moving even an inch since she was still immobile due to the skills that were thrown at her.

As Zoom ran past the Fallen Moon players and towards Snow's army Winter couldn't take her eyes off of Zoom. Zoom was quite a handsome lad that could make girls fall in love in first sight. Zoom had blue eyes with sharp features coupled with his clear skin and a moderately muscular build. Zoom wasn't skinny nor was he full of muscle.

Winter had countless handsome men ask her for a date or even marriage yet she never gave them a second glance. She was too focused on her guild which was Snow. She didn't want to let her brothers and sister down, she wanted to show them that she was as capable as them, maybe even more. This was the reason that she never sought after love.

But during her moments of despair, where she felt the world crumbling in front of her, Zoom had appeared and saved her from the predicament.

She had already thought of the possibility of Snow crumbling and disbanding or maybe even kicking her out of the leadership role and appointing another leader as she couldn't log in since Kane would have imprisoned her virtual body where she would become his plaything.

Zoom was slightly bothered by Winter constantly staring at him. Zoom didn't want to lie, Winter was indeed very beautiful but hey, who was he? A nobody compared to Winter, an ordinary person with an ordinary background. He didn't dare think of ever being together with Winter, this wasn't a fairytale after all.

Zoom was also too engrossed in this game called 'First World Online' to care.

Why?

Because of a certain news that had reached his ears. This news had caused an uproar throughout the galaxies that would soon affect the game.

As Zoom continued to run he felt awkward after Winter's constant staring, he sometimes glanced at Winter with a confused expression. But Winter only replied with a bright smile as she giggled softly.

'Oh F*** my hood!' Zoom realised that he had yet to put his hood on, as long as his hood was not properly covering his head then the passive effect of the hood would no longer take effect.

"Can you please put my hood on." Zoom said in a polite tone but Winter replied turned her head left and right which was meant as saying 'No'. Winter soon whispered in a soft tone, "No..."

Winter wanted to add a few more words to her sentence but she was too shy to utter them. She didn't want Zoom's hood to block her view of his face. But Zoom misunderstood.

'What the f***? I saved you, can you at least do me a favour and put my hood back on!' Zoom was slightly annoyed but didn't show his annoyance. Zoom glanced at Winter who had put on a cute expression, this was why Zoom couldn't push himself to say those words out loud.

Zoom's six summons steamrolled past the players who were now afraid of their presence. Even after the commands of their commanders who were also scared of stopping Zoom's party and only dared to yell commands.

"Rika, Reena drop Winter and that girl at Snow's backline and let's bail." Zoom let Rika carry Winter before Zoom and the fire others separated while Rika and Seraphine continued towards Snow's backline. Winter's cute and happy expression turned into a frown after Zoom was no longer carrying her.

Winter said in a thankful tone, "Thank you for saving me." where Rika replied with a smile before saying, "Not a problem, Zoom didn't want to sit still and watch after what that guy said after he would capture you."

These words made Winter feel a warm feeling inside as she thought of Zoom.

After Rika and Seraphine dropped Winter and Flake off she started running towards the direction where Zoom and the five others ran.
