Attempted Seduction

"Lothur, what happened back there? Why didn't you try to get your item back?" Elke asked her companion just after they left that area.

Hearing the doubt of the beautiful redhead next to him, Lothur felt his head boiling over the problem from earlier, but he did not let his feelings get in his way. He said to her. "Someone in that place wanted to get in my way, so it made no difference if I tried to get my item back. They wouldn't allow me."

"Anyway, in situations like this, it is better to take a step back and think of something to solve such..."

"But don't worry, I will return!"

"Oh? And what do you intend to do?" She looked him in the eye, impressed to hear that from him. "If you want, I can buy that thing to avoid any more trouble."

He smiled at that but did not accept her kindness. "Thanks for the offer, Elke, but no. I'll work it out in my own way."

"I already have something in mind, so I'll start working it out when we go on our mission."
